Good typical cisternino and puglia food, good preparation, presentation, flavor and quantities. Very friendly, attentive and helpful staff, special mention to the manager-maitre and the waiters and to the great Paolo who, despite the great rain today, did not stop bringing us food from the kitchen, he placed a tablecloth over his head to protect yourself and meet your customers who were expecting the delicious dishes...we paid about 25-30 euros per person, but we ate and drank very well...

Attended on Friday 30th August for dinner, at the suggestion of the host of the b&b where I stayed. My experience here was average. If you are looking for a simple and rustic place to have lunch or dinner without too many pretensions, it will respect your needs. As a Puglian, I found the food quite standard (we also ordered the first course of simple orecchiette with tomato, basil and grated caciottina), the selection of basket cheeses was not the best, also considering the price (€48 for two for a starter , two first courses and water). Regarding other reviews that complain about the rudeness of the staff, I must say that I have not encountered anything of the sort: the waitress who served us was very easygoing and courteous. It is clear that if we approach ourselves with kindness and respect, it is difficult to achieve the opposite. In conclusion, nothing excellent and a little expensive, but an overall positive experience.

In my opinion the nicest restaurant in the place. Good food, fair price. I recommend booking and arriving on time, there are few seats and the restaurant is very sought after!

very nice place in the historic center, a constant coming and going of people. Personally, the start of the evening didn't go in the best way as the service was quite rude and grumpy in general... however they recovered towards the end of the evening (could it have been just a case of nervousness?) anyway the wait wasn't long, actually (considering it was Sunday evening). Modest prices as usual, good, traditional and tasty food, especially the house starters which I recommend. Too bad for the grumpy start

I had lunch and was very satisfied. We had broad bean and chicory puree, orecchiette with turnip greens and ravioli filled with burrata. The best praise goes to the latter because they were truly exceptional. The rest is also really good and very generous portions. Correct prices but I find the cover price high (2.50). The tables were very close together but the space is limited. Eating outside is very suggestive. I'll definitely stop by if I'm in the area.

Locale molto carino, con tavoli sia interni che esterni. Nonostante il locale fosse pieno, con una breve attesa ci hanno fatto accomodare. Abbiamo preso un antipasto tipico con salumi formaggi e portate calde, orecchiette alle rape e un mix di bombette. Tutto veramente ottimo. Carinissima anche la cameriera che ci ha servito

Posto caratteristico situato in un vicolo di Cisternino Con la mia amica ci siamo accomodate dentro perché fuori il caldo era insopportabile per mangiare serenamente Abbiamo trovato una gentile ospitalità visto che eravamo le primissime clienti Servizio cordiale e le bombette ordinate eccellenti accompagnate da un buon vino bianco del territorio consigliato dalla gentile cameriera Costo corretto I tempi di servizio al sud sono molto low e non bisogna pensare che si stia mangiando presso un fast food, se no, si deve scegliere altro.
