It feels like staying at grandma's house, everything you need when you're on your lunch break, kindness, service and excellent food from "grandma's house" I will definitely stay here again when I'm in the area again!

Trattoria without unnecessary refinements, where we ate, after years, the phenomenal Salumi della Bassa and a trio of first courses to remember for a long time. Dry, zero-kilometre Lambrusco. Frequented by locals (!!!), an aspect that would be worth the sixth star. Very helpful service, with the young woman who looked after us (how rude I am, I didn't ask her name...), who gave us many tips for visiting Mantua.

Trattoria located on the Po bank since 1935 with simple furnishings but with very tasty and varied food. Very kind and affable staff. You drink a delicious and fragrant Lambrusco. Definitely coming back.

A Trattoria with a capital T. Divine food, very friendly family run environment. Finally the real Trattoria, not like those places that abuse this name and are then places for pussies. The food here is of high quality and cooked with passion. Well done, you are number 1 for me

18/05/2025: Friendly staff and excellent food. The only flaw is to ask for the quantity of food, because, for example, the focaccia appetizer was quite big while the tartare appetizer was small (however, both were excellent as were the first courses).
03/05/2025: Good food with excellent local products. Lunch with daughter in local wheelchair and accessible bathroom.

13/04/2025: After a long wander around restaurants, one Monday evening, in the lower Brescia area, we finally found refreshment in this inn, the only one open in the area! 😅 Simple dishes but full of authentic traditional flavors! A really nice surprise, the sweet and sour vegetables served among the appetizers are spectacular, I recommend them to anyone! I really liked finding variety in the dishes, not only dishes based on beef or pork but also other types, a real joy for meat lovers like us! The staff is friendly and helpful. Free parking available. Clean and comfortable, rustic environment, with furnishings that recall the rural life of the area and which characterizes this old farmhouse in an artistic way! And to make sure you don't miss anything, a truly excellent value for money! Absolutely must try!
