Well-kept and very characteristic trottoria, really good wines with exceptional dishes, warm and very welcoming staff and above all very professional, comfortable place, available for everything, excellent quality food, a truly fantastic trattoria, I highly recommend it to everyone

The food was truly authentic and delicious, prices also very friendly (took pasta with ragu, cappelletti with butter and stake for seconds). The owner was very welcoming, the atmosphere was like sitting at owner's living room, all tables talking between each other. Our dog was welcome as well.

One of the most historic trattorias in the Mantua countryside where the extra edge lies in the quality of the raw materials and the service offered by the Benlodi family. Family-run restaurant always open for lunch and dinner depending on the period. Specialized cuisine mostly on meat dishes, but there is also no shortage of veg options. I ranged from a meat appetizer, homemade tortelli with wild herbs and finally a baked duck as it was once done. Go and eat, you will not be disappointed. Book here if in doubt. They also have a business menu option for lunch, I will return for this!

Ristorante all'Ancora di Roverbella

07/07/2025: Paolo and his staff were exceptional, very warm and attentive. This is the third time we have been their guests in the last year. The courses on the tasting menu are many and refined. We asked for an encore of many proposals and were always satisfied. It's difficult to still have free space in your stomach for the last two very generous courses (mixed fry and grill), luckily you can take away what you can't finish :) See you next time!
