It was a quick business lunch; the place was packed, so we settled for the veranda overlooking the fairly busy street. The food and wine were good.

It was a wonderful experience. From the excellent food to the attentive and friendly service. The tagliolini with truffles—or rather, truffles with tagliolini—were delicious. And the fig dessert was wonderful. Kudos to you for the care, attention, and passion!

After so many years, it remains one of the true stalwarts of Friuli Venezia Giulia gastronomy. A welcoming, family-run trattoria, it consistently delivers on the highest quality food and wine. Ivan and his family are friendly, skilled, and knowledgeable masters, guiding you on a culinary journey that blends local tradition with refined culinary touches in a blend of flavors, aromas, and combinations that awaken the taste buds and stimulate the most dormant neurons. The "patate sglonfade" (fried potatoes) is a must-try, a true masterpiece of image, effect, and flavor. A generous shower of white truffles adorns various dishes, including spectacular tagliolini, delicately grilled and smoked meats, masterfully presented, mushrooms prepared in a variety of delicate ways and presented in the most noble ways. Finally, after dessert (spectacular offerings, including crepes flambéed with Grand Marnier), the "pasta alla Ivan" (pasta Ivan), a simple yet astonishingly authentic dish that will delight any guest, already full and satisfied with what they've tasted so far. A top-notch winery with special offers and tours, including those featuring lesser-known but highly valuable local wineries and wines. Finally, ask to taste their vinegar, a truly unique treat that puts Modena and the surrounding area to shame!

Birthday lunch! A unique experience, a welcoming restaurant, and knowledgeable, friendly staff. The amazing thing is that you don't have to ask for anything! You sit down and are already served with appetizers and prosecco. When the bread is running low, you don't have to ask because the waiter already knows, as well as water, wine, and everything else you need. Not to mention the delicacies, unique and exquisite dishes! Highly recommended!

My wife's birthday dinner. We were practically welcomed home. The waiter, Giuseppe, was truly professional and at the same time ensured the evening was informal yet elegant. Especially since our 12-year-old son was there, and he was initially a little taken aback by the menu and the pairings. Instead, it was a journey of taste, and Giuseppe was the guide, recommending spectacular dishes, all paired with equally excellent wines. Everything was explained impeccably. It's not an everyday restaurant, but you have to indulge yourself at Nando's every day. It wasn't anything new, after all.

Always a great experience, the service is near perfect. The only downside for me was the desserts... too heavy to properly end the meal.

I've known Nando's for years, and every time I return, it's a confirmation. Confirmation that the food is truly excellent. That the quality of the ingredients is undeniably top-notch. That the wine list and service are top-notch. That the quality/price ratio is extremely favorable (if you want to eat on a budget, avoid quality places). That in the area (and even beyond) it's difficult to eat better and have such a satisfying dining experience. Unfortunately—as I read in other reviews—this excellence of Friulian cuisine isn't always appreciated by its fellow citizens, and that's a shame because I've always found in this restaurant, besides excellent food, a constant desire to improve, with new and creative dishes offered each time, with truly top-notch results. I've been going there for years with satisfaction, and I'm sure I'll return with equal pleasure in the years to come. As a testament to its excellence, I've included a few photos taken during my numerous visits, ensuring that I've tasted and finished every dish without ever finding the slightest flaw!
