(original language: Italian). Pleasant surprise when I returned from abroad. I discovered this place by chance. On weekdays he also serves the worker's lunch, but it is clear that he reveals himself in all his energy during the weekend. I was looking for a sandwich and I found a very good lunch, which not only filled me up, but gave me the pleasure of rediscovering flavors that don't exist where I live. The environment is informal, but complete in terms of service. The entrance is the bar and you have to ask for the restaurant. You enter here from the back and the atmosphere is transformed. The building is, in my opinion, very dated and this can be understood above all from a series of period prints and finishes that I found along the way to the toilet... And it was an interesting little exhibition, too pleasantly surprising. For a complete tour of the memorabilia I even suggest raising your hand when you are in the bathroom. The renovation of the furniture has created an environment between Italian Art Nouveau, Provençal style and New England fisherman's inn (with white painted wood and pastel colours). Initially I feared that the dining room staff was insufficient but I was wrong, because they were professional, attentive and always present during the meal. My lunch was very good. The fish menu is certainly the strongest aspect, but I noticed that the land menu also holds its own very well. I made a choice that is not my habit and built a meal based on cold fish starters, with a final dessert. I particularly liked some of the plating details, such as the curls of clarified butter on my fish carpaccio, which were then spread well on the croutons served hot. The pink sauce was definitely balanced and gentle on the palate. Meanwhile, pasta with seafood and fried foods were flowing around me. The place is very popular and quite famous in the area. Certainly by bringing guests here you won't make a bad impression, but you will enjoy a delightful, well-air-conditioned environment and quality food.
