We dined here just after visiting the caves, this place is awsome. Breathtaking view, fair prices and big, tasty portions, we left this place full and smiling. Recommended.

I miei genitori erano stati in questo posto scoperto un po' per caso un po' di tempo fa, me ne avevano parlato molto, molto bene e così oggi abbiamo deciso di andarci. La distanza non è poca, ma ne è valsa assolutamente la pena, non solo perché Castelcivita è un posto davvero delizioso, ma perché nella trattoria 'il portello' si mangia davvero benissimo. Abbiamo ordinato 3 antipasti 'il portello' che erano molto abbondanti e veramente eccezionali, i prodotti sono di altissima qualità. Raffaele, con il quale abbiamo scambiato qualche chiacchiera sembra davvero una persona squisita, seleziona i prodotti che serve con molta cura e tutto nel giro di pochissimi km. Anche i ravioli erano buonissimi e fatti in casa. La ragazza che ci ha servito al tavolo è stata super carina ed educata. Il posto è tranquillo e gode di una vista veramente bella. Rapporto qualità/quantità/prezzo veramente ottimo! Ci ritorneremo sicuramente

Very good time in this small restaurant in Castelcivita. The waiter welcomed us very kindly, and the view of the mountains is truly magnificent — it's worth the detour alone! I ate delicious linguine, simple but full of flavor. Real Italian cuisine, authentic and without fuss. The value for money is excellent. A beautiful address, warm and unpretentious, which we happily recommend.

We had a wonderful and inexpensive meal! Very good pizza, pasta, and raw ham with buffalo mozzarella! The very friendly innkeeper has a perfect attitude - preferring quality over quantity👍👌🙏🏼!

Today I had lunch with my husband, we had a good time, we had an excellent appetizer and pappardelle with porcini mushrooms, it's a shame that the mushrooms weren't tasty. But overall I recommend it, perhaps mushrooms should not be taken out of season

We went on Sunday after visiting the caves. Had an exceptional starter and first courses with many typical local dishes. Excellent service and great welcome with good food. I forgot the delicious dessert (chiacchiere) was offered free at the end of the meal. Excellent prices. I recommend a visit if you are in the area.

Panorama mozzafiato, ottimi piatti e vero km0. Raffaele ci ha portato in tavola i prodotti che lui stesso produce, e quando unisci a un prodotto di qualità eccelsa, la sua passione per la ristorazione, ti sembra di tornare indietro del tempo. La vera cucina casereccia, quella della nonna, rivisitata ma rispettata. Grazie di averci ospitato, torneremo sicuramente.
