A favorite place. Risottos like this, with these high-quality ingredients, are hard to find (and I live in Milan). The meat is delicious. The place and staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The Storica Nera sorbet is a must.

The best Florentine steak I've ever had in Friuli, easily rivaling those at various Tuscan restaurants and trattorias (which charge much more for similar quality). Excellent service, fast and competent. A must try. Edit: I'm updating my review after a few years due to the service, which has become incredibly slow and unprofessional. Too bad.

We were at the trattoria on Saturday evening. The service was great, we were very friendly and we were given very good advice. We were very satisfied with the service and ate very well. See you soon.

Excellent food, and wine of course. We have been in this area many times before. But the first time at Trattoria Al Parco. Now on our ”must-return” list. Probably the best risotto I have had. Also loved the elegant, but relaxed atmosphere. As for the wine, the Meroi wines are splendid. We had Malvasia for the starter and then Merlot.

Ottima cucina locale, molto bravi sulla carne alla brace e buoni anche i piatti di pesce, così da offrire un'ampia varietà al menù. Vini di produzione locale di buon livello. Servizio gentile, cortese e professionale. Consigliato

05/09/2025: We are so happy that we stopped at this place while driving from the Dolomites to Slovenia. Everything was great, but our favourites were the Smoked Black Angus and the Beef Tartare as appetizers. Very friendly people!
31/08/2025: In a sudden craving for frico, I started searching Google for a place to satisfy this pressing desire. I tried the frico with onions and strisulis, the classic frico, and of course the crispy frico, which took me back to my childhood in a nanosecond... Amazing. Must try.

Al Monastero

06/08/2025: Absolutely excellent choice, highly recommended if you're in Cividale! We left very satisfied and happy with our choice! The attention to children was greatly appreciated (it's the first time it's happened to us that as soon as we arrive they ask us if we want to order a quick dish for our 2-year-old son and even bring him toys and drawing paper). The atmosphere was very nice and the food was excellent! Friendly and helpful staff :)
06/08/2025: It's always a pleasure to go there. The food is excellent, the presentation is exquisite, and it's a truly wonderful place to be.
