Trattoria Al Cacciatore In Curtatone

Al Cacciatore is a restaurant and bar, and upstairs, if I'm not mistaken, there are five rooms for overnight stays. We chose this strategic location to be close to Mantua the next day for a sightseeing tour: if you're traveling by car, it's much cheaper than staying in the city center, and there's free parking next to the Cacciatore. The owner welcomed us warmly. We dined in his restaurant, serving traditional dishes and a good Lambrusco. Everything was excellent, with portions worthy of a true trattoria, unlike anything you've found these days! The room is spacious, with a bathroom well above average in size compared to what you'd find in hotels. Complimentary toiletries and air conditioning are provided. For breakfast, the owner let us choose what we wanted from the bar, plus biscuits, toast, and jams delivered directly to the table.

The restaurant has simple furnishings, the peculiarity is the walls decorated with beautiful drawings, the friendly staff, the delicious pumpkin ravioli, and the very good sbrisolona.
