Trattoria Al Bocal In Remanzacco

If, like me, you're visiting the small pumpkin village of Degano Zucche in September/October (or if you're in the area for other reasons), I recommend lunch at this trattoria. Denis's hospitality and kindness are rare; he treated me and my family like friends; he prepared an excellent appetizer and an equally excellent gnocchi first course. We chatted for a while and exchanged numbers, promising to bring him some jota, a typical Trieste dish, next time. See you soon!

It's a bar. I only come here for a coffee or a glass of wine. I've only had a few snacks here. I can't say what the food is like or whether you need to make a reservation.
