Lunch.
After ordering, they offered us a plate with four slices of local coppa, SUBLIME.
We then moved on to the radicchio lasagna (off the menu of the day), which was good and balanced.
Pasta with beans and gnocchi were good.
The grilled tomini with polenta was good.
Cotechino with polenta and mushrooms was tasty, but it left me thirsty or had no digestive issues.
Four desserts were offered (a homemade torta paradiso).
With two side dishes, four coffees, one sambuca, one bottle of wine, and one bottle of water, it was €92.
Very fair price.
Reservations recommended.

Authentic cuisine, tradition, Venetian dishes, those that take you back to beautiful tables whose simplicity tells a timeless story... well, this was my Sunday family lunch during a visit to the Sanctuary. We wanted to try typical dishes like bigoli in salsa, gnocchi with butter, sage, and almonds, the spectacular cod with soft polenta, cooked cheese with speck and mushrooms, and stewed cuttlefish. They also offered us a delicious plum cake made in the morning... in short, we truly felt at home, with the same family warmth despite the crowds. The price was very fair 🥂 I really hope that reviews like mine can really boost this wonderful restaurant scene, because places like this absolutely deserve support. Well done!!!

Found it thanks to the good reviews I read and confirmed when I went for lunch today. Recommended by the very nice lady. Bigoli with house sauce and tripe, both truly excellent dishes. With a homemade dessert on offer, I couldn't have hoped for anything better!

A place for those who love good food, at more than fair prices, in a warm, welcoming, and family-friendly atmosphere. It's the place you walk in, take a look around, and know you'll want to return. Located in the center of Motta, go there.

A quick medical check-up at Motta Hospital, lunchtime. We head downtown and notice the tables outside this Osteria-trattoria, next to the Duomo, are all occupied. We're welcomed and sit at the last free table inside this rustic establishment, with clean tablecloths and a family atmosphere. From the menu, he lists the finished dishes; we ask for a plate of tripe and cod, but the tripe is also sold out. We order two portions of cod and a good red Malbec. The waitress immediately returns to inform us that there was still a plate of tripe, and we go to choose our substitutions. A small plate of cold cuts such as Cicchetto, tripe and cod, very tasty and delicious, two side dishes, water, and coffee for only €42. And to finish, the free dessert, a slice of house-made cake. In conclusion, the doctor had advised us to eat lean, but we preferred to eat healthy and were very satisfied.

Great quality food. We had mushroom risotto and tagliatelle with ragout, both perfect. The service was nice and pleasant, even though they are obviously not used to tourists. The menu was not in English, but that was no problem. If you want excellently prepared simple Italian cuisine in a typical Italian environment, this is the place for you.

It's been years since I ate so well and spent relatively little. Really compliments for the food, kindness of the staff. Highly recommended!!!! We will definitely return and bring friends and acquaintances.
