Tratoria Piedicastello In Taranto

Very close to the B&B where we were staying, we headed here for dinner. A lively trattoria, with many paintings on the walls and a colorful, cheerful ceiling (at least where we were sitting); the wooden beams give you a glimpse of what it must have looked like before it became a restaurant, very characteristic. We were greeted by a polite and friendly young man who explained the menu and presented the buffet, if we'd liked. The place was very quiet; even after others arrived after us, we were able to chat freely without any problems. I couldn't help but try the lasagna and the homemade Linzer torte, both delicious: I would have had seconds! The other dishes served were also plentiful and equally tasty. The price was absolutely in line with what we ate, very honest. If we ever come back, we'll definitely be back to try other dishes!

We visited this restaurant with my family. Excellent and fast service. Excellent quality food, especially the pumpkin cream soup, lasagna, tagliolini with ragù, and goulash. Reasonable prices. If we come to Trento again, we'll definitely stop by. Thank you, keep up the good work!

The food went beyond all expectations - everything we are was delicious. The service was excellent - hard working wait staff was very attentive, welcoming and responsive. Pictures and paintings on every inch of the walls was very interesting Reservations recommended but not required

A special place, delicious food, and excellent value. The staff was really friendly, although the first course was a little late. It's a bit far from the city center, but it's definitely worth it; the atmosphere is welcoming and pleasant.

The atmosphere is unique and very personalized. The food is good; the pappardelle ragù was spectacular. I'd remove the orecchiette from the menu to showcase the local produce.
