Clean tavern, delicious food, generous portions, friendly staff and absolutely adequate prices. I highly recommend. Don't be influenced by the appearance, which is still dignified and characteristic, stop and eat

Met somewhat by chance on the way back from Santa Claus Village. The food is phenomenal, generous portions, exquisite owners and service! The very honest price ends on a high note! I recommend to everyone!

November 10th, an outdoor lunch under a fantastic sun, fantastic waiters, good cuisine, tasty sauces and abundant dishes... what more could you want!? Very good appetizer with excellent battered vegetables, they reminded me of the ones my grandmother always made for me. Delicious and delicate wild boar fettuccine, equally good fettuccine with porcini mushrooms! The place is located right on the street and I highly recommend you stop by!

Non fatevi ingannare dalla posizione! Comodo parcheggio. Ha tavoli sia all'interno (ambiente da trattoria curata) che all'esterno. Cucina semplice ma gustosa. Ottimi i primi e i secondi con buona varieta' di condimenti. Porzioni abbondanti! Servizio cordiale e professionale. Provate per credere. Ottimo per la qualita' prezzo. BRAVI!

Ho pranzato oggi in questo localino a gestione familiare situato sulla via Cassia, poco fuori la splendida Sutri. Tavolino sotto l albero ci donava un po' di fresco rispetto ai 35° al sole. In compagnia di mio fratello e di un caro amico abbiamo preso degli gnocchi al sugo di cinghiale e fettuccine al sugo di carne, tutti rigorosamente fatti in casa. Porzioni ottime e assai abbondanti.. Quindi, già abbastanza sazi, abbiamo optato per una porzione di calda porchetta che cu siamo divisi. La simpatia e la cordialità dei proprietari hanno fatto il resto... Ci tornerò presto.

19/01/2025: The owner welcomed us very kindly. The food was exquisite, prepared with care and with excellent raw materials. The staff is very kind and professional. The artichoke trio is fabulous. We enjoyed the fried lamb and the grilled meat. It was all delicious. I recommend the first one at Ciccio. We will definitely return on our next trip. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Ciccio in person, because he is a special person. A true gentleman, professional and helpful. Thank you 🙏🏻
18/01/2025: I was a guest for lunch with my wife during a relaxing weekend. Everything is excellent, from the service that makes you feel at home, to the truly top quality food. We had a truffle starter and a meat main course, all of exceptional quality. Advised.

Il Toscano

13/01/2025: ...preoccupati dal titolo? Ma no..., è solo che è davvero difficile trovare qualcosa di negativo al ristorante "Il Toscano" di Bolsena. Ottima cucina, personale decisamente gentile e premuroso. Non è la prima volta che ci veniamo e dispiace solo che Bolsena non sia più vicina a Roma. Degli ottimi piatti ho già accennato (consiglio spaghettoni cacio e pepe, ma anche i tortelloni con i gamberetti) e può sembrare strano che mi soffermi sul pane ma, credetemi, è una vera delizia: è fatto in casa (come molta della pasta del resto) e viene offerto caldo... un antico piacere oggi raramente godibile. In conclusione, se siete in zona non perdetevi un pranzo, o una cena, da "il Toscano". Dimenticavo, anche il prezzo è adeguato!
