A truly surprising modern Roman trattoria. Truly delicious traditional dishes, a wide selection of wines and spirits. Knowledgeable and passionate staff. Excellent value. Highly recommended.

What an amazing meal. The squid special (stuffed with bread) was the best dish I’ve had in a long time and the rest of it was great. Such lovely service too - a real gem.

Just amazing place with an excelent and very delicious food and such a friendly staff. They have many vegan options and they can make it even more. Totally recommend!

A small, historic osteria in San Lorenzo. The place is beautiful and exudes history and tradition. With traditional dishes and more elaborate or revisited options, it's easy to find something to suit your taste buds and desires. The staff is top-notch, very kind and attentive, and happy to accommodate even special requests. Everything is good, with average prices, perhaps a little higher (first courses 13-14 euros, second courses 16-22 euros). Perhaps the wait for your dishes is a little longer than usual, but nothing out of the ordinary.

Absolutely love this restaurant! I’m in Rome for a month and have been to this place more than I’ve been to any other restaurants. It’s got an old fashion charm with its old tables and chairs that feel like they came from someone’s family kitchen, and the same can be said for the excellent and not pretentious food! If you want to eat like a local, go where the locals go not where the guidebooks tell you (and everyone else!) to go and Tram Tram is always full of locals! Tram Tram is hidden gem a little out of the tourist areas, in the lively San Lorenzo Area you will find lovely staff and honest food reasonably priced! Sometimes it’s full sometimes it’s not so I recommend you book, although I never booked and they managed to squeeze me in. I took my kids there when they visited me and they declared the carbonara as the best carbonara they ever tasted but I also recommend the lamb ragú or the meatballs. I have a few days left with another family visit and no doubt I will be a returning customer.

A local friend recommended this restaurant to me, and there is no doubt that they were right about this hidden gem in Rome! Tram Tram offers a variety of delicious, authentic Italian dishes in a fairly affordable price. If you are a pasta lover, this is the perfect place to visit if you happen to be nearby!

Trattoria che affascina per il suo aspetto antico da vecchia Osteria romana. La cucina è un mix di cucina romana e di cucina pugliese. Tram tram è il distintivo di questo locale che vede passare davanti a sé tram di tutti i tipi con il classico sferragliare sui binari. E poi ogni riferimento al "tran tran" quotidiano è puramente voluto. La cucina è ottima ed è tale dal 1990 anno di nascita della Trattoria. Noi, accolti con simpatia pur in orario quasi al limite (14:45), ci siamo beati di cavatelli al baccalà e di alici fritte con carciofi alla vignarola come contorno. Vino bianco della casa e caffè. Inutile dire che era tutto buonissimo. Il menù è vasto e la voglia di tornarci per provare tutto è irrefrenabile. Complimenti alle proprietarie (mamma e figlia) e allo staff gentilissimo. A presto.
