Perfect place if you prefer quality of the food, the family atmosphere and more Italians speaking than the Americans. If you’re looking for the trendy, Instagram cute vibe, stay away. You’re going to ruin the place. Come here to eat great food and have a great conversation.

Definitely come here if you are in San Lorenzo. The food here is superb and the Tiramisu really hits the spot. My boyfriend does not even like Tiramisu and he really liked this one. We ordered the meatballs, the fried anchovies, and the lamb ragu. All of it was soooo yummy!! The meatballs were a little cold inside but otherwise, very tasty. There are seats outside for us smokers and a cozy atmosphere indoors too. The menu is very reasonably priced with most dishes around €15. The waiters are all very friendly and quick, I really enjoyed my dinner here and I would come here again! 10/10

A trattoria taking you back to the 50s (my favourite time) with some of the best classics we ate during our stay in Rome. Really feel the history here and you know you are eating recipes passed down the family. Best polpette I’ve had, simple but perfect. Amazing kind service as we had an issue with a lost phone on arrival and they were super attentive and looked after us until we were ready to order. (We found the taxi with the phone!) Highly recommend if you want a meal in a quiet area, with a classic feeling, amazing service, and even better food. Grazie mille!

Rome = Colosseum, immediately after, Rome = Tram Tram. Discovered by chance two years ago for a work trip, since that time, every time we return to that area of ​​Rome, both my colleagues and I choose this place to have lunch or dinner. Very friendly staff and atmosphere that takes you back in time. The menu? Simply perfect, with the addition of daily specials from time to time. Their golden-fried anchovies alone are worth the trip to Rome. Compliments!

I returned to this restaurant, one of the first in San Lorenzo to offer a more refined menu that pays attention to raw materials, after more than ten years. I found the same atmosphere, the same care and the same flavors. I will definitely go back.

Tram Tram is an historic family run trattoria in San Lorenzo neighborhood. An old-style foyer, small tables and a serene décor, the restaurant has the genuine atmosphere characteristic of trattorias of times gone by. Very friendly welcome by the owners. The menu is a classic Roman menu including all the classic main dishes. Every dish is very well cooked and based on local and seasonal ingredients. Because of the season we had artichokes both Giudia and Romana, "coratella" and "vignarola". Because of the Apulian origin of the founder it is possible to find in the menu some Apulian classics such as "riso patate e cozze" or "fave e cicoria". A wine list well studied and particularly sensitive to the world of bio. Definitely recommended, not expensive, value for price.
