I gave 5 stars for everything and I would like to point out: the cuisine is home-made, typical Roman, prepared well, with attention and respect for local tradition; The staff is courteous, welcoming and friendly and ready to provide menu-related advice. Suggestive location, vintage, retro and perfectly in line with the name of the restaurant. Warm and family atmosphere. I will return with pleasure. Advised.

We loved our meal here and the staff made us feel comfortable and gave us great recommendations for our dinner. I’d definitely recommend it and also recommend making reservations.

One of the few "trattorias" left alive, tasty and plentiful dishes, kind and genuine staff, a typical owner! Authentic Roman cuisine. The only small flaw is the prices which, like everywhere else, have now risen slightly... In any case, a guarantee for good food and friendliness.

We had a great meal and experience at this restaurant. We went for lunch on a Monday and the waiter couldn’t have been more helpful. He was very friendly and patient with our ordering. Very old school but extremely flavoursome. We picked among the daily specials and were not disappointed. The Tiramisu was amazing. Thank you for your hospitality.

Sono capitata in questa trattoria a caso mentre cercavo un posto per pranzare mentre aspettavo di dare un esame all’università, devo dire che è veramente carina. L’interno è grazioso ed invitante, con quel calore tipico di una trattoria romana. Per primo ho preso dei rigatoni con la pajata, buoni con la cottura ben al dente come piace a me, solo che purtroppo credo di essere stata un po’ sfortunata con la pajata visto che me ne sono capitati solo due pezzettini. Come dolce ho provato un piatto del giorno, il bocconotto, molto buono anche se mi sembra che il costo di 8€ fosse un pochino eccessivo data la porzione. Comunque una bella scoperta, ci tornerei con amici

20/01/2025: Positive: The food was phenomenal. We started with an appetizer of Abruzzo cured meats and bruschetta. As first courses, bucatini amatriciana and pappardelle with wild boar ragù. Two bitters offered. Ricky, the waiter, was very kind and professional
08/01/2025: It’s so far the most impressive meal we have had in Rome. It’s a Tuesday night and a lot of other restaurants in the area were empty yet this place was busy - and you would understand why once you step in. Our host/waiter/ragazzo-si-sala all in one guy Ricky runs the entire show taking care of all full 10 tables in this neighborhood gem. As busy as he was, he tended to details of our needs. He recommended food (including gluten free meals) and drinks, gave us complementary appetizers and desserts - he was a big part of the charm of this place provides! The dishes are all delicious and very very reasonably priced. Ricky amazed us by running this one person show the whole night with grace and ease. He certainly deserves a double salary since he was doing what it would take 2-3 people to do in other places! It’s obvious a local favorite but tourists like me immediately falls in love with. Come and you’ll not be disappointed!!!

15/12/2024: Historic roman food in a long lived restaurant visited by celebs and locals alike for decades. Food is solid, classic, and comforting. Portions are huge!
07/12/2024: We ate well overall, objectively prices above average, really expensive, I give 4 stars instead of 3, as the food was good, but in my opinion you pay much more for the location (Trastevere) than for the food itself, still a positive evening
