Surprise in the San Lorenzo area, you can't understand very well from the outside, but when you open the door it seems like you're entering a place from the 1950s. The owner and mother are fantastic, kind service, excellent cuisine, Roman dishes and other reinterpretations. We have been back several times and it is always a success.

Roman themed bottle and tavern, inspired by the passage of the tram in front of the entrance. The management is family-run. The cuisine is truly excellent, with part of the menu varying from day to day. Extensive wine list and even the bitters had a list all to themselves. Pleasant atmosphere.

This place is worth the small trek out to San Lorenzo. One of the best meals we had in Italy. Fried anchovies were amazing. Gnocchi w lamb ragu was my son’s favorite. Mine was the stuffed squid. The carbonara was the best we had in Rome and we went to da Enzo.

Unassuming place that has home cooking but not quite suitable to my palate. Food was ok, not life changing. The customers that day seem to be a mixed of half locals meeting up with friends and half tourists. Not the friendliest of places.

SUPERLATIVE. For those who choose a restaurant based on the food they will eat, rather than the location, position or fashion. We ate very well: lamb and artichoke pappardelle, tripe and Vignola. I was bursting at the seams, but I didn't want to leave even a forkful. Too bad for the biological primitive, which didn't excite me.

Marketed as a great restaurant, we were disappointed.
Cold dishes, frankly lousy dessert (crème caramel).
The waiters took ages to serve us, and even worse, we waited 45 minutes after clearing our dishes to be asked if we wanted dessert, which was also disappointing.
We felt like we weren't being considered at all.
Besides, is it normal to charge us for tap water when we ordered a bottle of still water?
You'd think the restaurant wouldn't welcome tourists. I spoke English with the waiters, the owner came over to help them and made no effort, as if I'd suddenly learned Italian in an hour. In short, unbearable.
I do not recommend this place.

Sono capitata in questa trattoria a caso mentre cercavo un posto per pranzare mentre aspettavo di dare un esame all’università, devo dire che è veramente carina. L’interno è grazioso ed invitante, con quel calore tipico di una trattoria romana. Per primo ho preso dei rigatoni con la pajata, buoni con la cottura ben al dente come piace a me, solo che purtroppo credo di essere stata un po’ sfortunata con la pajata visto che me ne sono capitati solo due pezzettini. Come dolce ho provato un piatto del giorno, il bocconotto, molto buono anche se mi sembra che il costo di 8€ fosse un pochino eccessivo data la porzione. Comunque una bella scoperta, ci tornerei con amici
