The real stars of the show, however, are Osvaldo and Daniela, the two owners: always kind, smiling, and super helpful. It's wonderful to see how the rest of their family contributes to creating a warm, family-friendly atmosphere that makes you feel instantly at home. In addition to the truly excellent pizza, thick and soft as tradition demands, there's also the option of artisanal gelato, either to takeout or to enjoy in a beautiful cone. In short, Tortuga isn't just a pizzeria: it's a go-to place for anyone seeking quality, courtesy, and a genuine smile every time they come in.

The best pizza by the slice in the area, very friendly staff, and reasonable prices. I also recommend trying the gelato, which is excellent.

The pizza by the slice is good and the portions are generous. My only advice is to always make a reservation, as I've often had too many orders and there wasn't enough pizza dough to last the entire evening. You can also eat in at the tables inside or outside.

Pizzeria by the slice in Verderio, a weekday lunch experience that I found to be nothing special. The slice was absolutely edible, but comparable to pizzas from local supermarkets, so it's not a must-try. The price is slightly high for the quantity. Plenty of seating, reasonable wait times. It could be a useful option for a quick bite to eat when passing through the area, especially considering the poor quality of nearby competitors (Egyptian, etc.).
