TO EAT In Verbania

A great place in Intra, on Lake Maggiore, to spend the afternoon enjoying an aperitivo with friends (€8 including a drink). They have a wide selection of drinks and cocktails, some of which are quite unique. I tried the passion fruit spritz, which was really good! Recommended.

Generous and well-presented aperitifs, pleasant atmosphere I've been to To Eat several times for aperitifs, and I must say the experience has been very positive overall. The aperitif is generous and beautifully presented, with tasty pizzas and light fried foods that aren't at all heavy or cloying. You can sense the attention to quality and care put into the dishes. The cocktails are generally good and well-made, although, it must be said, they aren't always identical: sometimes they're excellent, other times a little less impressive. However, they're still pleasant and well-mixed. Even the off-menu items, like tigelle, are truly well-made and served with attention to detail. The place has a welcoming atmosphere and is comfortable to be in, although at busier times the interior space can feel a bit limited. Another small point that could be improved concerns the outdoor tables: some are slightly wobbly, and, being made from loosely joined wooden slats, they make it difficult to place glasses and stemware. That said, it remains a recommended place for those looking for a good aperitif in a refined and convivial atmosphere.

Great bar, great value for money, superb service. We visited the bar seven times during our vacation and were never disappointed. Highly recommended
