The location is stunning, on the Pizzo marina. You can see the sea, but not the food! It's still worth going. Perfect for a gala evening or a ceremony, celebration, or occasion. Very large, with a spacious interior. Overlooking the sea. Very good!

We chose to dine at the "Il Forte della Monacella" pizzeria and restaurant because of its charming location. The restaurant is just steps from the sea and has a terrace overlooking a medieval-style tower. The pizza is delicious, light, and fragrant, with a wealth of ingredients. I recommend the Calabrese, with 'nduja and dried peppers—it's truly delicious. The service was also impeccable, and the bill was generous.

Everything was perfect, the place was wonderful, but especially the wait staff, the waiter Giorgio, was incredibly friendly and kind!! Congratulations, highly recommended!

What can I say about this place? Everything was perfect. My partner and I went for our anniversary. We were initially captivated by the beautiful view, but then we realized we couldn't have made a better choice. We arrived and were immediately greeted by Giorgio, an excellent waiter, who immediately showed us to our table and made us feel at ease. I had called to say it was an anniversary and could arrange for a bouquet of flowers to be placed on the table, and when we arrived, there was a beautiful bouquet of fresh red roses, provided by Giorgio himself. As soon as we arrived, we immediately looked at the menu and tried to figure out which dish was right for us, but thanks to the wait staff, who were fantastic at describing each dish, we were able to make the right choice. We started with two seafood appetizers, two delicious first courses (I had the gnocchi verde mare and my partner had the filaja scampi and burrata), then the grilled meat and fried fish. It all ended with dessert, which was the classic and delicious tartufo di pizzo. Throughout the dinner, we savored every bite while admiring the sea, the sunset, and the lights of the Pizzo marina—everything was beautiful and romantic. Giorgio, who oversaw the service every step of the way, also recommended an excellent bottle of wine that paired perfectly with what we were eating. It was a wonderful evening and experience. I can't find a flaw even when looking for one. The price also seemed fair to me, because for a seafood dinner for two (two appetizers, two first courses, two second courses, desserts, water, and a bottle of wine) we paid about €70 each. I assure you that for the service, the quality of the dish, the freshness of the fish, and the view, the price is fair. I highly recommend it to everyone.
