The Bridge House In Povoletto

Excellent beer, decent snacks. The atmosphere is meant to be that of an Irish pub, but the Friulian swearing spoils it a bit.

Great beer and super sandwiches. Very well-kept place, friendly and welcoming staff.

The interior is very well-kept and truly Irish style. I have traveled far and wide across Ireland and locations like the Bridge House are hard to find outside of Ireland. I don't mind the food or the drink. The Guinness will never be like the Irish one due to the lack of that bitter note that makes it special, but it is still one of the best Guinnesses in export territory. The service is a bit old-fashioned and contrasts with that of other pubs in the historical social era in which we are living but, after all, if you are from the area and go to the Bridge House, you know that either you are a regular who will be given a smile or a chat more or you will be a number that comes in, consumes and pays. You know it and if you go back, like I do every now and then, it means that you are happy with it. Twice we had to go back to the cashier because they had sold extra beers, but just tell them and they will refund you the difference. Go there especially on St. Patrick's Day with lots of live music.

Great food....and what about the beer!!!
