My husband and I decided to try this place on a Sunday for lunch, taking a small trip out of town from Pavia. We were completely satisfied, perfect service, a great welcome with a glass of their bubbles and a small entrée. In my opinion, the tartare is unmissable, with that hot marrow in perfect contrast, as is the risotto with cabbage, potatoes and fondue. Strong flavors, but never cloying. The wine was also very pleasant. We will definitely return in good weather, because the location and the view are enchanting!

The Valcurone estate is a magical place, halfway up the hill overlooking the Po Valley, surrounded by vineyards, olive trees and rosemary bushes. A place that smells of ancient times and exudes warmth. Applause also for the dishes, well prepared as well as well cooked, and which represent the territory.

Il posto è stupendo con vista sulla valle spettacolare. Ambiente rustico come è giusto che sia in questa struttura, ma molto curato, personale gentilissimo, i piatti….molto buoni, dai paccheri al ragù di selvaggina o con sugo di carciofi, veniamo accolti con un’assaggii di tomino a miele e frutti di bosco con un calice di bianco di produzione propria( non è da tutti questo tipo di accoglienza, apprezzabilissima!)
Anche il rosso della loro cantina, io ho scelto un cabernet, apprezzabile.Da ritornare sicuramente. Bravi

Stunning location and atmosphere just a few km from Milan. Courteous and friendly welcome from the owner. Very refined and refined menu and food with the right value for money. A place truly to be recommended even in summer.

Partiamo dagli aspetti positivi: location bellissima non c'è che dire. Servizio gentile e professionale e tempi d'attesa giusti. Menu ottimo e per quanto mi riguarda, il ragù del pacchero con barbabietola qualcosa di strepitoso! Anche il lombo di cervo assolutamente buonissimo. Il vino della tenuta, inaspettatamente ottimo (il lecchese non è zona di vini leggendari...).
Il quasi è riferito a una pasta e al mio lombo poco più che tiepidi, peccato. E una cosa strana della quale volevo capire i motivi ma che alla fine non ho approfondito: il menu degustazione si poteva scegliere solo se tutti l'avessero ordinato. Eravamo in quattro; due si e due no non è stato possibile. Mistero.
Ci tornerei volentieri.

Nice discovery... a reality that makes the difference! Km 0 products, “local” wine km minus 0 which gives great added value.. In short, above average quality..
location that takes you into a familiar reality, in a satisfying context. You feel at home.
sure.. quality has its price but it gives you satisfaction!! I'll definitely be back!
