Tenuta Terra e Sole In Castrocielo

Excellent restaurant, truly delicate and tasty food

A little hidden, but the food was excellent and the service was impeccable.

The Agriturismo Ristorante Tenuta Terra e Sole is easy to reach, exit Pontecorvo/Castrocielo and then follow the directions on Google Maps. The location is enchanting: it is located at the foot of the mountain and surrounded entirely by olive trees. The dining room on the lower floor is huge and offers gourmet cuisine. Upstairs it almost feels like being in another place: inside the location and the cuisine are traditional. As soon as you enter, you see the chefs at work behind a huge kitchen complete with embers. while the cuisine is partly gourmet, partly traditional. Advised

We only stayed 1 night as we were passing through but after our short stay we would have liked to stay a few more nights. Luana and her husband are fabulous: welcoming people, knowledgeable of the places surrounding an area so rich in history, very empathetic and with an eye towards children (which is not always so obvious). The estate is truly stupendous, the peace around it is priceless and the accommodations are not just simple rooms, they are really welcoming, all very refined. We promised ourselves we would return soon!
