Tables set with paper and pins, we ordered two tortelli with meat sauce, then one mixed grill and one potato chip, because the prices were a bit out of line with the environment. We each got about nine tortelli, then bones that looked like ribs, one sausage, and one piece of chicken. The chips were also meager. And I say that for one person, eh... I'll attach a photo, anyway. All this, with a half-liter of wine and coffee for €63.90, discounted to €60. We weren't told why, but we made up our own minds. We got up hungry, but honestly, happy, because if we'd ordered more and received more of these portions at those prices, we would have been even more disappointed. The plates, in the sense of tableware, are also too big for three bones and a sausage. We're HAPPY to pay those prices, but it has to be worth it. The place is absolutely not worth the prices, and I understand why someone might sit down hungry because they've been walking a long way and are ready for anything. That's my opinion.

We came to visit Santallago as a destination recommended by friends, a place immersed in nature truly beautiful and well kept with the possibility of camping even with tents with all the necessary services available. We had dinner in the restaurant, really kind staff, fast and efficient service, they did not let us miss anything. Truly exceptional food, high quality raw materials, especially the meat. Really excellent quality price for what we ate including wine. We will definitely return to enjoy Santallago again.

Delicious food, very nice place. Some flaws in the service, but young waiters and, even if inexperienced, very nice and kind. Exceptional quality/price. Perhaps the best rib eye (not the usual damn Florentine) of my life in Tuscany. We will be back

The place is beautiful, we have been going there for years, the only flaw is that today, to eat a focaccia (arrival and exit time one hour), they made us pay €12 for entry... Imagine how much two focaccias cost us for an hour, maybe something needs to be reviewed...

Il Ristoro La Bottega del Parco

21/04/2025: Passo spesso da queste parti in viaggio per lavoro, ho scoperto questo ristorante grazie a una persona del luogo, e da allora cerco sempre di fermarmi per la cena in questo ristorante quando passo in zona. Ho assaggiato un po’ tutti i piatti del menu dalla carne ai primi passando per i salumi e per i dolci. Direi che il mio piatto preferito restano i ravioli di “mucco pisano” (prezzo 12€) è un bel piatto di ravioli ripieni di carne locale conditi con un abbondante ragù sempre fatto con carne locale. Molto buoni sono anche le carni e i salumi. Per un antipasto carne dolce a cena, sei intorno ai 50 €. Però ci sono altri piatti, come ad esempio i primi, che sono più economici. Questo locale fa anche la pizzeria, anche quella è molto buona. Ogni volta che sono passato in questo locale in qualunque giorno della settimana, l’ho sempre trovato strapieno sia in estate che in inverno, sinonimo del fatto che la qualità della loro cucina è apprezzata anche da gente del posto. I dolci, prezzo medio 6€, sono un po’ piccini, per rispetto allo standard. Se si cerca un ristorante con carni di qualità, questo è il posto giusto.
18/01/2025: Il cibo è ottimo ma avvisate i vostri parenti quando decidete di andare a mangiare li perché potreste tornare a casa il giorno dopo vista l attesa anche solamente per degli antipasti. Peccato.

08/09/2025: To try more courses, I chose the meat menu, which includes an appetizer, a first course, a second course, water, 1/2, wine, and coffee for €28 plus cover charge! My first note was the stained tablecloths (perhaps a previous customer?), the platter of cured meats a bit dry and salty. The crostini with mushrooms in oil was good. The first course, ravioli, and the second course, were delicious, with arugula, but not exceptional. The portions and rating were worthy of a business lunch. On the other hand, the staff was very friendly and fast.
28/08/2025: A quick lunch. Nothing special. Reasonably priced.
