A great place for the sweet tooth in mind. Not a great variety but when you want something sweet this place will do fine.

Madly in love with this pastry shop. The freshly made ricotta cannoli are the best we have ever tried in all the years we have visited Sicily. We have been here several times and both the ricotta and the cannoli themselves were always very fresh. Pistachio granita and biscuits with an indescribable flavour. The girls who serve are so attentive and kind. Places like this remind me why I love Sicily, the wonderful people who populate it and the food of unparalleled quality! PS: the cannoli were cut at our request, obviously they are not sold like that!

Truly a top-notch pastry shop. The cannoli are exceptional. Also try the various granitas... highly recommended. The owner is very friendly. Prices are in line with the quality. A must-stop for anyone passing through Donnalucata.

29/10/2025: I had two pizzas, one parmigiana and one viola.... Initially a little skeptical, since it was the first time I tried this place.... A huge and pleasant surprise.... one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten.... compliments for the quality of the dough, very light and digestible, and high quality of the ingredients.... Definitely worth trying.... one observation, the cost of the supplements is not indicated.... right that you pay, but personally I prefer to see it written.... anyway, 5-star pizza
06/10/2025: A wonderful experience and very friendly and attentive staff. Thank you for the lovely morning and lunch! We had filled cornettos and a good cappuccino, pasta and salad, and the kids were treated to ice cream. I like the location, close to the piazza, but still far enough away to not be too touristy. The only downside was that the restroom wasn't clean in the morning.

Trattoria Sale E Pepe

14/09/2025: While on vacation in Sicily, we saw this restaurant along the road to Modica. The sign says "traditional cuisine," so we stopped in. It was a great experience. We returned every night we were in Modica. We took their advice and tried a few different dishes, including the pizza. All the food was excellent. The owners are friendly, kind, and attentive to their customers. We had a great time. They also gave us advice on what to try and see in Modica. Well done, keep up the good work.
