Tenmaya In Roma

When I'm in Rome I eat there several times, the sushi aperitif idea is great, everything else is good, the staff is kind and courteous.

A truly satisfying experience. Vast differences compared to other Japanese restaurants. Amazing artisanal ravioli. The only Japanese in the area who works with tuna belly. A well-kept restaurant; with a reservation, you can sit on the floor.

Lovely atmosphere. The lady serving is very kind. We'll definitely be back.

Great food, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. There is no all you can do, I recommend enjoying the dishes as a tasting and sampling experience

The atmosphere and the presentation of the dishes were very nice! The staff were helpful and kind. The sushi was good, my favorite was the one with egg and it's the only restaurant I know that does it, the delicate and sweet flavor makes it very special! I also liked the seared salmon, with its fragrance and delicacy. The Gunkan was very rich. The rest didn't particularly impress me, the sauces were a bit excessive and I expected the carpaccio to be better for the quality/price, the sauce didn't accentuate the taste of the fish. In conclusion, if you choose the right dishes, you can also fill yourself up with a reasonable price, otherwise it could be a bit expensive. A small detail is the accessibility to the bathrooms, it could be difficult to go down the stairs for those with mobility difficulties.

Locale giapponese con menù alla carta carino come location e molto caratteristico.personale (che poi credo che siano anche i proprietari) molto cortesi!i piatti proposti sono i classici con qualche variante particolare tipo Okonomiaki che non si trova spesso!nel complesso materia prima buona e di qualità forse i prezzi un filo alti ed è per questo che mi limito a tre stelle se i prezzi fossero stati leggermente inferiori avrei dato 4stelle!

I am not a fan of "ethnic" cuisine, I avoid olliuchenit, I haven't eaten Chinese since I was 15. I discovered ramen thanks to a friend who directed me to a well-known franchise, very good. My son (then 7 years old) became a ramen glutton and by chance we discovered this Tenmaya. The place is very nice, there are traditional tables and tables with the seat inside a sort of tatami. Then different rooms where I have never been but still a very comfortable environment. Then we move on to the cuisine: takoyaki (octopus balls) gyoza (traditional ravioli with a filling with various condiments), ramen (traditional soup with long homemade pasta and with different condiments including chicken, beef, shrimp and vegetables) yaki udon and yaki soba (another type of pasta sautéed on the griddle with vegetables and condiment like for ramen) the dishes to try. But above all I find one thing here that I have not (so far) found elsewhere: okonomiyaki! The typical omelette seasoned in sweet and sour sauce with sauces and mayonnaise. Once we had the classic "sushi boat" and with plenty of wasabi it went down wonderfully without any problems. The drinks are the classic Western ones but there is also the legendary Sapporo beer (from the name of the place), which is good but not too strong. Prices are all in all normal for a cuisine that is very appreciable and not banal. Generous portions of ramen, udon and soba. Recommended!

Super Japanese restaurant, with sushi and other Japanese food. The owners are Japanese, not Chinese, as is common in Rome. Everything is as we like it (good food and ok prices) and we go to this restaurant every time we are in Rome.

Nice place in the Tuscolo area, we returned after a few years and the quality is always high. We ordered the ravioli with meat, with vegetables and with prawns. This time we had spaghetti, rice with salmon and vegetables and sushi. The mochi is very good.
