A very beautiful place reminiscent of traditional Japanese trattorias. The food was excellent, on another level compared to Ayce. Fair prices

A point of reference in the neighborhood characterized by excellent traditional cuisine. The ramen doesn't arrive for half an hour, but that's right: after all, it's not instant ramen and every single second is worth the wait. Hands down among the best Japanese restaurants in Rome.

I have been going to this restaurant for years where I have always received a warm welcome. The staff is kind and helpful, there is in particular a waitress who speaks Italian very well and who has the patience to describe every single dish to those who, like me, have a visual disability, but do not know braille. In fact, this was one of the first places in the area to put menus in braille... the dishes are excellent, both raw and cooked and the desserts, in particular the moji and ice moji, are delicious too

One of the best Japanese restaurants I've ever eaten in, the environment is very nice and traditional, it feels like you're really in Japan, all the staff are uniquely kind and the food is simply superb. We ate so much and well, I'm so happy we found this place. I recommend it to everyone!

Locale stupendo e cibo sublime. Ramen al miso buonissimo, consiglio l'aggiunta di altra pancetta di maiale. Mochi viola al cocco stupendo!

Cozy and refined atmosphere, with a minimalist design that reflects Japanese aesthetics. The service is impeccable: the staff is courteous and competent! Among the specialties on the menu, not to be missed: grilled meat and vegetable ravioli (Every bite is a delight) and sautéed Udon with prawns, eggs and vegetables! Tenmaya is a must for anyone looking for a high-end experience in Rome. (on weekends I recommend booking in advance! Even if it's worth every minute of waiting!)

12/03/2025: I am absolutely in love with this restaurant! The food is good, fresh, well seasoned and the service is fast and punctual. A little less pleasant was the fact that when we took away some unfinished dishes (which were duly paid for), we realized that some of these had not been put in the bag. But even this episode absolutely doesn't change my mind about the quality of the experience in general. Strongly recommended (by reservation).
