Tempio del Moscato In Volpara

My personal experience at the Tempio del Moscato was positive. The setting is charming in the quiet Volpara district, where the terrace of the deconsecrated church offers a beautiful view of the valley, especially at sunset. The restaurant offers a selection of cured meats and cheeses, paired with wines from the Oltrepo Pavese area. We ordered a couple of each with a good bottle of Riesling, and to finish, two portions of amaretto tart with plum jam paired with glasses of Moscato di Volpara. The food was good, especially the cheeses, and the Moscato was truly delicate and pleasant. The bees and mosquitoes, which swarm around the tables in search of food, might be a nuisance. I found the bill a bit high for what we consumed. A visit is recommended to anyone looking for a pleasant, relaxing experience accompanied by excellent local products.

A stunning place, perfect for an outdoor aperitivo. The waiter was extremely kind and knowledgeable, the Moscato was truly excellent, as was the cheese board. My only complaint is that the aperitivo is a bit sparse; with the cheese board, they bring a basket of just one type of bread, which is good, but lacking in variety. If instead of just one type of bread, there were two or three, perhaps with a few small pieces of focaccia or a few breadsticks, the aperitivo would have taken a step further. Overall, it's fine, but those little details here and there are missing that would really elevate it.

A charming location on the first hills of the Oltrepò Pavese. Attentive and kind... Quality platters of cured meats and cheeses... A bottle of wine is recommended 🔝 Excellent wines... Good value for money... Available to purchase wine... at a good price... The only downside: the €1.00 charge for a bottle of water... but that's okay... Recommended place!!

An enchanting destination, a very careful selection of wines linked to the area. We accompanied the pinot noir with a cheese board that competed in goodness. It is divine. And above all the owner has passion in his heart, the way he welcomes his guests and accompanies them in the evening is from another time.

Beautiful evening spent sipping excellent Moscato under the stars. It is possible to taste platters of cold cuts and cheeses. Excellent service. Kind and helpful staff. All in a suggestive location and far from chaos and smog. In the evening a surprising dance of hundreds of fireflies like I have not seen in years completed the magic! Very pleasant company on the path that leads from the structure to the parking lot, not far away. Highly recommended!!!

I had the pleasure of spending a pleasant evening at Il tempio del Moscato, a corner of paradise immersed in the vineyards. The view at sunset is simply breathtaking: hills covered with golden rows that extend to the horizon, giving a magical and relaxing atmosphere. The aperitif was a celebration of local flavors: the cured meats were delicious and accompanied by cheeses that enhanced every bite. The Moscato completed the experience perfectly, with its sweet and refined taste. The friendly and attentive staff, ready to recommend the best pairings. An experience to absolutely repeat, ideal for those looking for a moment of relaxation immersed in the beauty of nature and the quality of authentic flavors.
