The restaurant is a bit dated; perhaps it was appreciated years ago, but today it doesn't really stand out for its distinctive style. Culinary-wise, there are two drawbacks: while the menu isn't particularly varied, it's decent; especially the meats, it's uninspiring, both in terms of quality and primarily because of the prices, which are clearly above average. The same goes for the appetizers, side dishes, and desserts; while they're worth it, the prices aren't justified. Ultimately, the friendliness of the staff alone can't justify the prices, which in similar, yet more attractive, establishments are significantly lower for higher quality.

We found this place to be the only one open in Pompeii on Carnival Monday. We tried Grandma's purpette, authentic and absolutely well-made, and two first courses: pasta with potatoes and pasta with white ragù, mushrooms, and truffle. Both were mouth-watering! The welcome in the dining room was also excellent! The price was fair.

The restaurant, in Pompeii, presents itself as a Braceria-Churrascheria. I booked through TheFork and went with two other couples of friends. A table for six. A lovely place with two dining rooms; we think you can immediately sense the "grilled meat" atmosphere! One of our friends is quite an expert on grilled meats. We were greeted by the waiters, who were all friendly, empathetic, and professional. We were "pampered" and given special advice by Rosario and Maria, whom I must mention. The atmosphere was truly pleasant. And Buon Rosario immediately recommended the wine for the evening to pair with what we were eating: an "Aglianico Rubrato" from Feudi di San Gregorio. We loved it both because we could detect a bouquet of red fruits with a pleasantly fruity flavor and because, which doesn't hurt, it's relatively inexpensive (under €20). Well done, Rosario!! We ordered three eggplant "cannoli," which are eggplant parmigiana stuffed into cannoli; a truly excellent appetizer, especially since we weren't expecting it considering the usual "Sicilian cannoli"! Then we moved on to the meat: the two friends shared a Tbone of about 1.2 kg of Chianina beef, which turned out to be delicious; our friend, an expert on grilled meat, complimented the chef because he hadn't eaten meat this flavorful in a long time. Good old Rosario told us it was aged for around 25-30 days. I ordered the "Asado" of Vacca: a typical Argentinean dish cooked at a low temperature; exceptional flavor, with the meat melting in your mouth! Incredibly tasty!! (It's no coincidence that we were at a churrascheria, a place where you can enjoy typical Brazilian/Argentine grilled meat). The ladies had a "tagliata di cube roll," meat served on a hot stone with arugula, cherry tomatoes, and shaved parmesan. The flavor was excellent, too! The green salads were served in tiny "bagnanarole" (tubs) for a charming visual effect. Then we moved on to dessert: tiramisu in a coffee pot, chocolate caprese cake, and a two-toned sponge cake that made the cake look like a dish sponge! Good, but not as exceptional as the meat, in my opinion. Then we had some liqueurs to accompany the desserts: an exceptional "baba're," a rum cream with pieces of baba. A worthy end to the evening! We received a 30% TheFork discount on appetizers and meats. Not on desserts or liqueurs. Excellent value. A truly lovely evening. We will definitely be back. Must try!

Eat well in a welcoming restaurant, with helpful staff. Everything was perfect, and the meat was excellent.

Very nice, clean, and tidy atmosphere. Fast service. Excellent food, the pasta alla genovese was extraordinary. The main courses and dessert were also good. We'll definitely be back.

Very nice and welcoming place, the managers are nice people and very empathetic with the customers, we felt very pampered we will be back soon!!!!
