I was there two nights, and everything was excellent. The meat was high-quality and expertly prepared by the chef, a kind, smiling man who puts his heart and soul into his work. We tried the BBQ ribs, picanha, pasta with potatoes and provola, Genovese, and a few appetizers, all excellent. The service was fast and, above all, attentive. The two waiters were very kind and friendly, making you want to come back.

Taverna 49 is a very nice place in Pompeii where you can eat well at reasonable prices. If you book using the The Fork app, there are some great deals available, so you can dine at a great price. Excellent food, excellent meat, and excellent everything.

Authentic taverna not far away from the city center. This place used to be restaurant & pizzeria but the owner has recently decided to turn the pizzeria into a churrascaria, to provide an alternative to the several pizzerias opened in the surrounding area in the past years.
We (a table of 4) decided to go for a shared picanha plus sides and wine. Everything was delicious! The meat comes with a hot plate in case you wish to cook the meat a bit longer.
Overall, great service, great food for a fair price. Recommended!

Beautiful Rustic place as it should be for a meat restaurant. Exceptional quality meat, exquisite of every kind. We tried the ASADO of cow: very tasty, very tender, spectacular! Qualified, very kind and friendly staff. It is not the first time we go there. We are a couple from Foggia and we often come to Pompeii to relax and therefore also to eat well.

Truly a remarkable experience. The churrasco was simply excellent with a great marinade that gives a rich flavor.
The environment was no exception. The place is well-kept and the rustic atmosphere creates a welcoming and relaxing environment, ideal for an evening with friends. Finally, the attentive staff helped make the experience even more pleasant, proving to be attentive and helpful. In short, a place that I highly recommend to meat lovers and those looking for a quality culinary experience in a pleasant environment.
