We were there on our vacation, the tavern has a special charm, the service was great and the food was all exquisite.

A very pleasant surprise! On Sunday evening, many restaurants in Salerno were full or closed. A little discouraged, we entered this restaurant, attracted by a welcoming vestibule opening onto the alley. The restaurant was full: a fifteen-minute wait. First surprise: as soon as we sat down on a large stone bench in the vestibule, two glasses of sparkling white wine were brought to us to tide us over. Second surprise: a magnificent, spacious, vaulted medieval-style dining room (formerly a chapel) with rustic furniture and well-spaced tables. Two more glasses of wine were waiting for us in our room. Third surprise: the high-quality cuisine. Octopus with fava bean cream, shellfish lasagna with chimichurri sauce, linguine with clams… all absolutely delicious, as were the desserts. A very extensive wine list is also worth noting. Fourth surprise: the welcoming and attentive staff, who even offer a menu in French. Fifth surprise: a very detailed review, but above all, one that displays a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

Visiting from UK - found the service good and very welcoming- one of us does not eat meat and easy to ask for information and offer a suggestion for a local fish which was ex excellent and some local wine . we both enjoyed the food and relaxed atmosphere
