A refined, elegant place with exquisite food. I add, referring to those who don't like it or those who get up and leave, with the excuse of having chosen the wrong place: go somewhere else that suits you, it's better! Octopus walled EXCELLENT!!!!! I confirm everything again, returned on September 24, EVERYTHING EXCELLENT! restaurant intimiste avec belle carte des vins et succulente cuisine locale saine et légère. endroit calme, typique et frais, même en p’ein canicule. très romantique.

The place is cute, in the center of Maratea, decorated in a classic style. The food is good but nothing exceptional; we ordered eggplant caponata, a meat-based first course, and a seafood-based first course. The problem is the price, which is completely out of line. We didn't choose a selection of dishes because we didn't want to spend so much, and even for starters, two first courses, and two waters, it's €80. The menu includes cod for €40, a fresella with oil, capers, and tomato for €20, a shrimp first course for €60, and so on. Really out of line. Sure, they're listed on Michelin, but they don't have a star yet!

The place is nice, the staff is kind, everything we ordered was good. Overall a bit expensive and some courses (starter and side dish) were a bit limited in quantity

Al Boschetto

08/08/2025: Our experience at Il Boschetto restaurant was marked above all by one major inconvenience: the stifling heat in the small room where we were seated. Even though the air conditioning was "on," it was practically as if it weren't working, as it couldn't cool the room (which was small and easily cooled if there were a properly functioning air conditioner set to the right temperature), but we were told it wasn't possible to lower the temperature any further. With over 35 degrees Celsius outside, the situation was truly unbearable for everyone in the room. In practice, it was better outside... unfortunately, we had booked inside, confident that the room would be adequately cooled. A shame, because the room was otherwise private, welcoming, and well-kept, ideal for our group of about thirty friends. The food was also good and the service courteous, but the air conditioning issue inevitably affected the entire experience.
07/08/2025: Family atmosphere and excellent service. Traditional Arbëreshë-Lucanian dishes.
