I dreamed a lot about this restaurant, the expectations were very high. I would point out that the dishes were all very good, some more, some less but for better or worse the quality, research and flavor was there in all of them. I immediately realized that, unlike other tables, we were treated a bit like the "poor people" (probably our clothes weren't up to par? Who knows... and yet we had chosen the most expensive menu and certainly a poor person doesn't go to eat there... but anyway... ok) the biggest criticism applies to the service and in particular to the 2 women. One extremely snooty and the other extremely unprepared, super botched and bordering on embarrassing. He explained the dishes in a super superficial way, all of them! Some of them were presented incorrectly (pre-dessert) so much so that, not being able to understand her explanation, we asked the male waiter what was inside and in fact there was something completely different to what she told us. Finally he arrives with the small pastry almost throws it on the table saying “we have the small pastry” WITHOUT SAYING ANYTHING and leaves. So I stop the male waiter again, annoyed at this point, and point this out. He apologizes and explains the desserts to us. Gentlemen, these are 2 Michelin stars and for 2 stars perfection is needed. I spent €600 but I absolutely believe at this point that it was absolutely not well spent. Lunch lasted 4 hours, too long for me also because in the end the courses weren't even that many (compared to other signature menus tried by other starred ones) and in fact if I can add the chef's free choice of the type of dish was a bit disappointing... his big giants were missing... I don't know I saw everything a bit browned as they say in Naples. It was also very annoying that the waiters often gathered in the center of the room to laugh, joke and talk about their business. Of course I prefer a formal but "loose" environment, but I don't think so, it looked like the trattoria next door. Also because it often happened that the waiters stopped to laugh and joke with the tables of the "regular customers" and this too, in my opinion, was quite out of place given the context. The goodness of most of the dishes is preserved, although I repeat in my opinion not all of them are up to the two stars. A disappointment that will remain and we will certainly not return.

I highly recommend living this culinary experience (and more); superlative venue, very high level staff, magical atmosphere; I would already like to return for another tasting.

Siamo stati per la prima volta in questo ristorante con tantissime aspettative, il mio voto è dato ovviamente dall’ insieme di tutto ( location, menù, staff). Partiamo dalla location : semplice ma elegante Nota positiva per lo chef ed il menù che ha dei piatti veramente buoni( risotto e antipasto con le mani) Nota negativa il personale di sala( escluso il sommelier fratello dello chef) gli altri erano poco preparati e con poca gentilezza. Ci hanno tolto il pane prima che finissimo….. più volte sono restato con il calice vuoto di vino e pochissima la spiegazione dei piatti… al dolce nessuno ci ha chiesto se volessimo un amaro, un liquore o un caffè per finire e questo per un ristorante due stelle non dovrebbe succedere.

As an omnivore I loved this restaurant, but as a vegetarian I am completely in love with their cuisine. In most omnivorous restaurants you always feel forced to create something that can satisfy the choice of vegetarians, but in the case of Taverna Estia, no, the entire menu has been designed to make us live a unique experience tailor-made for us. Francesco Sposito's cuisine has always been my favorite and the welcome in the dining room is certainly no different. Attention to detail, exceptional raw materials, experiments but without forgetting tradition, care of the customer who then becomes a pampered guest and accompanied on a gastronomic journey that makes you say wow with every dish. Their aperitif to be enjoyed with your hands is second to none, ever. It's worth the detour and the journey too

Beautiful local entrancing experience. I was literally pampered by the waiters, the maitre d' and the wine expert who advised us on the pairing to make with the chosen dinner. Absolutely worth repeating

Siamo tornati da Taverna Estia a distanza di circa 5 anni e, purtroppo, devo dire che la visita precedente ci aveva lasciati molto più entusiasti. Alcuni cavalli di battaglia, come l'aperitivo da magiare con le mani ed il risotto mantecato con confettura di limoni hanno mantenuto intatto il loro appeal. Ottima l’ostrica, buono il filetto alla Wellington. Diversamente, le tagliatelle di calamaro, nella nuova versione floreale, perdono davvero tanto, ed il dolce, con le sue declinazioni di cioccolato, non regge affatto il confronto, né per bellezza, né per gusto, con la meravigliosa pastiera di qualche anno fa. Ciò che condiziona pesantemente in peggio il giudizio, tuttavia, è il diverso livello del servizio, a mio modesto avviso peggiorato, con l’inserimento di personale giovane che, tuttavia, risulta poco scrupoloso ed ha un approccio fin troppo confidenziale (per il livello del ristorante).

An experience to be repeated for the atmosphere, the courtesy of the staff, the kindness of the Sposiito brothers with whom we also had the pleasure of having a chat at the end of lunch. High level food and wine route with a fair quality/price ratio

I'll start by saying that you eat very well, but!! In my opinion, the two-handed menu they offer was supposed to give me a journey of flavors and pleasant emotions due to how it is sponsored and how much they charge for it, above all I believe that mistakes cannot be allowed in serving the delicacies...

Extremely creative gourmet cuisine using local ingredients in an intimate setting. I ate outside and many of the ingredients came from the garden next to me, e.g. the apricots or mint. The service was particularly hospitable and I felt completely at home.
