Excellent welcome, excellent food, simple atmosphere

For our wedding on October 3rd, we celebrated with a wonderful dinner at Taverna dell'Olmo (Carla's). Everything was fantastic, the food was excellent and served in perfect time. The service was friendly, kind, and attentive. We can't thank Carla and her entire staff enough for making this special evening so special. A big thank you from Giorgia and Antonio.

EXCELLENT. We had a totally relaxing lunch. We didn't just "eat," we enjoyed excellent food, high-quality fish and seafood prepared by the chef with care and flair. Every single dish was an explosion of flavor: from the tasting of all the appetizers to the sorbet and the "Bronte" parfait, from the sautéed seafood platter to the exquisite, dry, and delicate fried fish... it was a journey of pure flavor. Compliments to the chef and also to the service: the lady in the dining room welcomed and looked after us throughout the meal with a smile, was punctual and professional, always attentive and present, without ever being intrusive. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful evening at Chef Carla's Gli Assaggi experience last Friday for dinner. It was a journey filled with new and elaborate dishes, accompanied by excellent wine recommendations from the wait staff. I recommend this experience to anyone looking for an evening of discovery and good food! Everything was excellent, congratulations! 👏🏻👏🏻

I went there a month ago, on a Saturday, with a woman with celiac disease, knowing they had gluten-free options. As soon as we arrived, it took them over 20 minutes to ask us if we'd chosen our food. We asked for still water, and they brought us sparkling water. And, despite knowing there was a celiac at the table, they brought gluten-containing bread for both of us. After we'd eaten our appetizers, the wait for the first course was very long, around 35 minutes (when the waitress told us a 10-minute wait), during which time they realized their mistake with the gluten-free bread and brought it. The first courses were very good, and the food was excellent. Unfortunately, the wait ruined our experience; we must have been there on a bad day!
