It was my first trip to Italy in 7 years, and while I was sad that I couldn't find a restaurant that suited my taste, the meal at this place was overwhelmingly excellent. Not only was the food full of seafood flavor, but the atmosphere of the restaurant and the service from the staff were all good. I made the big mistake of misunderstanding the reservation date and visited on a different day after no-showing the day before, but luckily there was a free table so I was guided. I was also very grateful to the staff who willingly guided me through this entire process. It was a restaurant I visited on purpose, and it was an experience well worth the effort and effort.

Awesome place! Well-groomed, refined without falling into banality. Friendly and non-intrusive staff. Delicious food - both the menu choices and the dishes with the catch of the day. Praise also goes to the different types of bread to accompany it, one better than the other. (The only note is that the music volume is slightly high, but nothing unbearable). Honest account and excellent value for money. I hope to be able to return!

ENVIRONMENT Perfect air conditioning, which allows you to safely have the fish displayed on the ice counter, to stay cool, without getting unpleasant bronchitis like in many places. Lighting: Soft and warm light dedicated separately on each table, expanding the sense of intimacy that the room already gives upon entry. The clothing of the dining room staff is very nice, reminiscent of the sailor style but without being too strong. The elegance of the sommelier and her attention to detail give an air of solid and impeccable service. The quality of the food is truly excellent, with the fresh fish counter being the most popular, which is one of the strong points of the place. Homemade bread and desserts, where there is a person dedicated only to that, just like in large restaurant projects. Tartlets. Whipped meringue of perfect consistency, excellent bird's beak lemon cream. The place has been in existence for 10 years, and I can say that it has certainly been 10 years of RESEARCH, seeing the results obtained to date. Prices very consistent with the great quality and excellent service received. We will be back! And thanks again.

The place is very nice. The quality of the product is high, but the portions are ridiculous. The price is high for what they offer, even taking into account the quality compared to other places. The bottled water was not cold. If you're not very hungry, you want to go try local products and you don't mind spending a lot of money, it's your place.

Fish cuisine certainly excellent both in terms of quality and offer! Punctual and courteous service even if not very personal... especially those who welcome customers, where there are problems on the part of the restaurant, should be a little more courteous and helpful with customers (who are not to blame).

Best seafood we had on our trip to Puglia. The quality of the locally fished products was exquisite. A bit on the pricier side but you definitely get what you pay for. Highly recommended.

Bella location e servizio cortese. Cucina di pesce con crudité, piatti molto elaborati. Poca attenzione ai bambini. Da non scegliere se vi piace una cucina semplice. Prezzi medio alti.

Premetto di essere un affezionato de La taverna del porto. È stato il mio luogo del cuore per molto tempo, ma tornandoci ho trovato un aumento spropositato dei prezzi. Nulla giustifica tutto ciò, nemmeno le materie prime di qualità. Trattandosi di piatti semplici non mi spiego e capacito. Temo ahimè di dover abbandonare l'idea di frequentarlo. Un gran peccato.
