With four friends, we wanted to spend a fun day while eating well... and this place exceeded our expectations... very well-kept, clean and fun location (there are only four beautiful rooms, so book in advance if you want to go). The dishes are spectacular: delicious appetizers with refined ingredients, delicious first courses, spectacular second courses of meat and fish, both raw and cooked (see photo). The meats are tender and the quality of the meat and fish is worthy of a starred restaurant... the desserts are divine, the selection of wines and beers recommended by a sommelier and the people are really sweet and kind, ample parking outside, we will be back.

Stunning location, meticulously maintained down to the smallest details. My wife and I stopped for lunch. The service was perfect, the staff attentive and extremely kind, and the cuisine was top-notch. It deserved 5 stars. The owner was incredibly kind, and the atmosphere was truly pleasant. Very nice atmosphere, and exceptionally kind and professional staff. When you get there the restorant is not visible, just ring the intercom with "Ristorante" walk around the house and you are welcomed in. Topical Italian food is served of high quality. All was very good.

Good morning, the place is beautiful, clean, quiet, table set with simplicity, clean tablecloths, very nice service; the food is well prepared, the cook, Stefania, is good, she used local ingredients, she was very kind even in worrying about replacing the meat in the dishes prepared, I thank you for the consideration shown towards me; if you like to have dinner or lunch in a flower garden this is your place. Pay attention to the sign that indicates it: in this period with so much vegetation it is a bit difficult to see it; good food to everyone!

I have lived in Occhieppo Inferiore since I was born, but I had never come to the Taverna del Gufo. What have I missed over the years!
The place is very, very welcoming and immediately gives off an extremely familiar and comfortable atmosphere.
Top and high level service, the waiters are very trained and competent.
The quality of the food is very high, certainly prepared by staff who have been doing this job for many years, with care and a lot of passion.
Price absolutely in line with the high quality offered.
I will gladly go back, since I also live very close to it!
