Good cold cuts and cheeses, the frico very tasty.

Can't rate the food. Menus were difficult to read and understand and service was not good at English.

I try to book, the answer is "first come, first served." I arrive and they ask me if I've booked (obviously not). They make me wait outside in the sun, like at the airport chain... I repeat, under the sun, and the owner, with all his long faces, seems even annoyed (him and us? Because we're impatient to be seated or in the shade). Hmm... And who knows... Single dish with frico, balotta, polenta, etc. I'd say it needs revising because the frico is different, the ballotta will choke you if you're not careful (it's dry). I order coffee and sambuca, and the sambuca gets lost along the way, I ask, and no, these sambucas lose their bearings. I'd revise the friendliness and the dishes, which are not unique. Given the response, I'd say you need to rethink what it means to provide service. Perhaps the owner was an electrician or a lumberjack before managing a restaurant. Anyway, I'd say excellent response. Keep up the good work.

On our way back from vacation, we stopped at this restaurant, where we had a delicious meal. We were a little hesitant because, since my wife is celiac, we thought they wouldn't be able to please. Despite not being certified, the owner and the lady who served us went out of their way to please my wife, demonstrating their expertise and knowledge of gluten-free options, and it was a pleasant surprise. On future trips to the area, we will definitely stop at Taverna del Gufo in Longarone.

After passing by on several occasions, last Sunday I finally managed to try Taverna del Gufo 🦉, and was definitely satisfied 👍. Arriving there around 1:00 PM 🕐, we immediately asked if it was possible to sit outside given the beautiful sunny day 🌞; since there were no free tables under the veranda, we sat inside, appreciating the decor and the numerous references to the house mascot 🦉 (see attached photos 📸 📎). After taking a look 👀 at the price list (fortunately in paper 📋 in times when only QR codes seem to be left 📱), we also listened to the day's off-menu specials, ultimately opting for these: Tyrolean gnocchi/spätzle and tagliolini with venison ragù 🦌. To round out our order, we also ordered a medium Coke with lemon 🍋, a liter of water 💧, and two coffees ☕ at the end of the meal. Everything was very good 😋 (I just thought the tagliolini were a little salty) and served quickly by the staff 👩🏻👩🏻‍🦱. Prices were reasonable, considering we spent €36.60 in total 💶. The location is strategic, right in the center of Longarone, right in front of the church ⛪. We liked it, so we RECOMMEND IT 👍. Decent little place.... Welcoming, not very big... But still functional... Good food and decent portions... The friendliness is not bad either....
