Beautiful location. Very professional, friendly, and kind staff. We liked what we tried, but we weren't crazy about it. I can't say I had a bad meal, but I wouldn't return based on what I ate.

Very good food in a very relaxing setting with beautiful decor.
The staff were very helpful and always ready to serve. Very generous portions.
I highly recommend it. I rarely make recommendations.

A textbook pasta and potatoes! Excellent food, professional waiter, all enhanced by the evocative setting that takes me back to those 17th-century days when Caravaggio roamed these streets between one murder and another.

Locanda del Cerriglio is a charming and characteristic place in the heart of Naples' historic center, exuding history and atmosphere, just as I expected. The welcome was warm and professional. I tried the spaghetti with clams and the Genoese-style candles, both excellent; the house bruschetta was also very well-prepared. We'll definitely be back to try the main courses.
My only personal comment: €16 for two glasses of Greco seemed excessive.
All in all, it's a restaurant I recommend!

Tucked away food paradise! Do not be fooled by the little entry sign and narrow walk up- this is the right place. Traditional Neapolitan cuisine with attentive, helpful staff. Sommelier recommendation was a win! Absolutely wonderful beginning to end. Limited seating and we did get in w/o reservation at 6:30pm. Early for the Naples crowd, but worked for us!

Based on the reviews, we went to dinner at this restaurant, but perhaps with high expectations. The place is quaint and welcoming. The pasta and potatoes were delicious, but the Neapolitan-style cod wasn't soft, but stringy and with dry patches, as if it had been reheated several times. The gentleman who welcomed us and the staff were kind but lacking in attention and professionalism. He came in without explaining what was on offer, the two glasses of wine we requested were served with different amounts, and a dish for fish bones and a hand towel were missing, hopefully due to forgetfulness, so much so that the fried food we were about to eat was mixed up with the scraps. Unfortunately, we were disappointed.
