Taverna dei Golosi In Cori

Excellent lunch. My husband and I stopped here almost by chance for lunch while we were searching for the Temple of Hercules. We were pleasantly surprised by the welcoming atmosphere (very kind waitress) and the excellent food. Authentic flavors, fair prices, highly recommended!

From the appetizers to the main dishes and wine, everything was absolutely delicious and we had such a wonderful time! The truffle gnocchi, in particular, was the best Italian dish I’ve ever had — it truly blew me away. This dinner was so memorable that I’d love to return to this town just to eat at this restaurant again on my next trip to Italy!

The restaurant is small, the service is good and the food also has excellent portions, naturally on Sundays it is full and we waited a bit to eat, but precisely because of the size of the place....

Dopo un bel giro per Cori, pur senza prenotazione, abbiamo trovato posto in questo ristorante dal nome che è tutto un programma. Locale semplice e con pochi tavoli, servizio presente e gentile. Come benvenuto una bruschetta con ottimo olio di frantoi locali. Abbiamo diviso un abbondante antipasto di prosciutto, mozzarella e olive della zona. A seguire una pasta tipica a base di acqua e farina, i cellitti, con asparagi, pancetta e pecorino, piatto veramente gustoso e ben riuscito. Buone anche le fettuccine ai funghi e la cheesecake alle fragole come degna chiusura. Con il caffè ci sono anche stati offerti dei biscottini caserecci tipici. Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.

The food was gorgeous I would say. The only thing that is really worth here and probably bringing the plenty of visitors. As per service it was merely available. The waitress was also cook, quite restrictive - if you want primi must be one and a same for all 3, I will do Saltimbocca only for the guys can't do more of it. It also took centuries to get the food. Luckily, even though not properly organized, we were sat outside. Inside was stincky and overcrowded. I would say these people should invest more in service, since they already have an incredible food. Tagliata was just one of a kind, also the Pollo cacciatore, Tiramisù and panacota. Lot of potential, mediocre performance.

My experience was very positive. Everything we ordered was good.
