Great time. Very good food. But the manager kicked us out at 10:00 pm when we had barely finished our meals.

I would say, that was the phenomenal food porn, best carbonara in my life, definitely going back next day!

A touch of class that cannot go unnoticed is the selection of wines: a rich and well-kept cellar, perfect to accompany each dish. There are also very interesting natural wines, such as the red we tasted from Castelli Romani! The menu of the day offers a variety of fresh and well-balanced dishes, with particular attention to vegetables that are very fresh and expertly combined. The house specialties, such as the Amatriciana, are absolutely unmissable. The pasta is al dente and the sauce, rich and tasty, blends perfectly with the smoked bacon, creating an impeccable combination. No less important is the Carbonara, prepared according to tradition: creamy without being heavy, with a rich and enveloping flavor that leaves the palate satisfied. Another plus is the possibility of eating outside: the outdoor area, where we were seated, is perfect, thanks to the breeze that makes the experience even more pleasant. It is an ideal corner to enjoy a quiet lunch or dinner, perhaps accompanied by a good glass of wine from their excellent cellar. Ultimately, Trattoria Cestia is a place that we recommend to anyone who wants to immerse themselves in the authentic flavors of Rome, in a welcoming environment and with attentive service. An experience that is definitely worth living.

Abbiamo prenotato in 14 con un menù fisso: antipasto: crudo e bufala, parmigiana di melanzane, carciofi fritti. Bis di primi (definiti dal ristorante 2 assaggi!!): erano due primi con porzioni intere: cacio e pepe e amatriciana, acqua vino (vermentino molto buono e un rosso di cui non ricordo il nome) e e caffè!! Siamo stati veramente bene, i camerieri gentili e simpatici, la proprietà molto gentile e il prezzo veramente super!! L’ambiente è carino, la posizione è anche bella!! Consigliato
