A simple Roman restaurant with friendly waitstaff. We had very good appetizers, and the parmigiana was tasty. Unfortunately, the first courses weren't up to par; the carbonara was unbalanced, with too much guanciale and not enough cream, and the pasta was too al dente. The pasta and potatoes, on the other hand, were overcooked, too soupy and not creamy, and lacked flavor. The desserts were nothing special; the zabaglione sorbet had a caramel cream that made everything strangely bitter. The hazelnut crème brûlée was good.

I discovered this place almost by chance, and the ambiance isn't particularly impressive, but it's within the average standards for a Roman restaurant.
During dinner, I had a suppli (truly delicious, crispy, and meat cooked in wine), and for my first course, I had a matricina, the best I've had in Rome so far, and my girlfriend had a carbonara, truly delicious.
For four of us, we paid €100 (fried food, first course, drinks, and cover charge), which I'd call excellent.
Remember, if a place is frequented by Romans, there must be a reason; I'll definitely be back.

A good restaurant, neither good nor bad, with a carefully selected menu. Good wine selection.
Excellent portions, fair prices, clean atmosphere.
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.
The seafood menu is worth a visit, with plenty of variety.
€60 per person for two bottles of good red wine.
Very interesting paintings on display.

Everything was good, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The pasta portion was just the right amount, without being overdone. The carbonara plates were already cleared at the table.

We made a reservation for nine people at 8:30 PM, and despite the relatively late hour, several dishes were already sold out when we arrived: artichokes, pie of the day, sea bream of the day, and even the anchovies. We had specifically booked because part of the family was visiting from out of town, and it was disappointing not to be able to try the artichokes.
Overall, we weren't particularly impressed with the dishes available: for example, the supplì sauce was acidic. The amberjack, on the other hand, was very fresh and well-prepared.
Unfortunately, the table assigned to us was near a door with a strong draft, making dinner uncomfortable for some of the people sitting nearby.
The waiters, however, were friendly.
