Formidable tavern in the heart of Pomezia. A very well-kept place that offers perfectly executed traditional Roman dishes. The owner is very helpful and attentive to customer requests. Recommended for both lunch and dinner to savor typical Roman dishes.

I must say that it will be a pleasant discovery. Welcoming environment, quality food...such a superlative amatriciana, not even in Rome have I ever eaten it like this...Superlative! Applause goes to the lady in the dining room who was omnipresent and friendly, kind and helpful... she flew between the tables and the kitchen but always keeping her attention high on the customer! We will definitely be back! Compliments

Il locale ce lo hanno consigliato alcuni colleghi. Posto molto bello, piccolo ma essenziale, il cibo buono ed il personale molto gentile e amichevole, anche senza prenotazione ci hanno creato il tavolo. La cucina romana è molto ben espressa, ed i piatti sono abbondanti. Molto buono il tagliere, e le mezze maniche con sugo di coda alla vaccinara (fuori menù ma proposta quella sera). Un posto dove sicuramente ci si ritornerà

We tried this restaurant in Pomezia by pure chance for a family lunch. We were all pleasantly surprised by both the home-made and delicious cuisine and the truly excellent service. We ate really excellent polenta with sauce, like the artichoke gricia. We will definitely be back to try other specialties!

20/01/2025: Positive: The food was phenomenal. We started with an appetizer of Abruzzo cured meats and bruschetta. As first courses, bucatini amatriciana and pappardelle with wild boar ragù. Two bitters offered. Ricky, the waiter, was very kind and professional
08/01/2025: It’s so far the most impressive meal we have had in Rome. It’s a Tuesday night and a lot of other restaurants in the area were empty yet this place was busy - and you would understand why once you step in. Our host/waiter/ragazzo-si-sala all in one guy Ricky runs the entire show taking care of all full 10 tables in this neighborhood gem. As busy as he was, he tended to details of our needs. He recommended food (including gluten free meals) and drinks, gave us complementary appetizers and desserts - he was a big part of the charm of this place provides! The dishes are all delicious and very very reasonably priced. Ricky amazed us by running this one person show the whole night with grace and ease. He certainly deserves a double salary since he was doing what it would take 2-3 people to do in other places! It’s obvious a local favorite but tourists like me immediately falls in love with. Come and you’ll not be disappointed!!!

08/02/2025: Excellent place, typical tavern, pleasant environment from the first telephone contact for the reservation then in the welcome at the entrance and the accompaniment to the table, in short impeccable service also in the description of the various dishes with any advice if requested. Then a good variety of dishes, all with seasonal ingredients and therefore truly fresh and nothing frozen, to choose from on the menu with even some off the menu. Starters, first courses, second courses and side dishes, even pizzas, then desserts and finally coffee and bitters or digestives, all delicious and the portions generous. The time spent at the table here was completely pleasant, we are always happy to return.
07/02/2025: Ottimi cibo, porzioni abbondanti. Personale gentile e disponibile. Tavoli ben distanziati, all'interno e all'esterno. Prezzi medi. Ampio parcheggio riservato. Grazie.
