Good food, slightly cheaper than other places

Very simple and nice atmosphere, The owner was friendly and helpful as was the staff in the dining room. Good price, quality products. The only negative note......we are in the land of olive trees and oil packaged in single-dose sachets cannot be accepted on the table

I discovered this place on holiday in Salento in Torre San Giovanni and I must say that it was a great discovery. A truly simple trattoria restaurant but with truly authentic flavours. We ate here twice and both the food and the pizza were really great. The portions are super generous and full of flavour, so I don't want to finish them because I'm a good eater and can say it all. I recommend you stop for lunch or dinner here because it's really worth it. The owner is friendly, welcoming and kind, in short you feel at home. The only sore point that I have to say is the service. I start from the assumption that it is intended as constructive criticism. You must teach the waiters that when welcoming a customer, the first thing to do is bring the menu, ask them if they would like something to drink while they wait, and then order. When clearing away, do not bring dirty dishes from the clearing and outgoing dishes at the same time. You must be certain of the numbering of the table to which you will bring the food, it is unpleasant to see a waiter wandering around looking for the lost table and then maybe after ten they bring you the almost cold food because it is put back on the pass waiting for those who know the place better . Instruct waiters before service. If you order seafood or fried fish, the plate on which to place the shells and bones must be brought before the dish arrives or at the same time. Small adjustments that would certainly improve the experience. My advice to the pizza chef is to avoid unpleasant comments about the staff or customers, also because foreigners don't understand, but those who are Italian and local can be disappointed. (For example, I asked for some fried potatoes before the pizza and the pizzas arrived at the same time, because the pizza chef told the waiter that he wasn't interested and he decided when the pizzas would come out. The waiter always starts the preparation at the end of the meal! I don't have to feel awkward not knowing what to eat before or after!) Finally, thanks for your hospitality.

Always everything delicious. And everyone is very kind, but it's nothing new, after all I've been going to the place for years. Always friendly and cordial owner and staff with very young and super polite kids, kind and always with a smile. Pizza and the rest always top.

I believe that a tourist place of this magnitude has an absolutely acceptable level. Excellent quality/price. Not to mention the pizza dough and excellent choices between first and second courses. A pizza restaurant that deserves it

Madò che magnata stratosferica, personale simpatico e professionale gestione dei tavoli velocissima, piatti con quantità abbondanti e gustose anche il sorbetto di buona qualità e non sempre si trova, abbiamo preso diversi piatti insieme a mia moglie peccato lo scontrino non sia commestibile altrimenti anche quello ci saremmo mangiati peccato alzarsi senza avere possibilità di correre senza pagare ma comunque ci vorrebbe coraggio, scherzi a parte anche dal punto di vista del prezzo è onesto. Torneremo presto lasciate un tavolo prenotato magari se magnamo pure quello. 🤪
