The prices are exorbitant for the quality of the product, so much so that the difference compared to an all-you-can-eat restaurant is minimal, and for some dishes, almost imperceptible. The salmon is the same as everywhere else: farmed, with the typical white streaks of fat, therefore unhealthy and cheap. The only noticeable difference is that they serve less rice than at regular buffets; this is a plus because it allows you to better enjoy the fish. Of all the dishes I tried, the only one superior to other restaurants was the red shrimp, fresh and flavorful. But anyone who claims this is the best sushi restaurant has probably never been to a serious all-you-can-eat restaurant and is influenced by the high prices and à la carte menu, believing that this alone is enough to define it as the best. Let's always remember that high prices don't necessarily mean quality.

The food quality is excellent. The atmosphere is very elegant, and it's quite a faithful reproduction of a Japanese restaurant, thanks to the original floor-level table and chair arrangement. The service is very good, and the bill is certainly not low-budget, but not excessively expensive either. I'd say it's good value for money.

Sushi Tao is definitely one of the best all-you-can-eat restaurants in Cagliari. The dishes are truly unique and carefully crafted, with tasty and never boring combinations. The salmon petit beignet is spectacular, and the tuna tartare is one of those dishes that makes you want to return. The service is always extremely friendly: the staff is attentive and very helpful, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. The price is absolutely in line with the quality offered.

Everything was delicious! Clean and well-kept restaurant, excellent food! The icing on the cake is Aiz, a very sweet, super patient girl, always ready to give excellent advice even to the most difficult customers ;) 10 out of 10!!

À la carte Japanese restaurant. The ingredients and presentation are simply excellent. A true culinary experience. Definitely worth a visit. Prices are reasonable for the quality.

13/12/2025: I've been going to this all-you-can-eat restaurant at least once every two weeks for two years now. I recommend it to anyone who wants to try an all-you-can-eat restaurant and is willing to spend a little more than others. Excellent service, excellent food, and quality that's truly close to à la carte sushi—nothing to envy. As far as I'm concerned, the negative comments are from people who base their comments on a single experience, who don't understand what all-you-can-eat means, and who certainly don't have the polite and courteous ways to express themselves to their customers. A single negative experience can happen, but posting a negative review online out of spite is truly laughable. Keep up the good work, you're doing an impeccable job!

18/10/2025: We particularly love sushi, and I've noticed this; we've eaten at many restaurants, but this is the best, hands down. The dishes are amazing, both in appearance and especially in flavor. The raw fish is incredibly fresh, but all the varieties, in general, are phenomenal. The service is top-notch, and the place is beautiful.
14/10/2025: A delightful lunch for four, three adults and one child, turned into a memorable dining experience at this remarkable sushi restaurant. Guided by the attentive and knowledgeable Narciso, we savored a beautifully curated selection: delicate Hosomaki Salmon and Avocado, silky Sashimi Salmon, and the indulgent Truffle Salmon. The Toyo rolls were a highlight, from the crisp freshness of the Asparagi Tuna to the aromatic Toyo Truffle Salmon, the refined Salmon Flo, the perfectly balanced Ebi Flo, and the vibrant Rainbow Roll. Each bite showcased the kitchen’s precision and creativity. At Narciso’s suggestion, we finished with the Flambè, a spectacular and delicious finale from the Toyo rolls that perfectly concluded our meal. Having dined here regularly over the past six years, we continue to be impressed by the unwavering quality of both the cuisine and the service. A must-visit whenever we return to Cagliari.
