I often go to Tanino for pizza, which I find very good. My only disappointment is that the cashier is never smiling or welcoming; unfortunately, she never says hello! Since she's at the register, right at the entrance, I think it's the least I can do to greet everyone who enters with a smile and thank them after they pay! After all, if you choose to return, it's certainly for the quality of the pizza, but a better welcome wouldn't hurt!

The pizza was good, with really good and generous toppings. Not exactly Neapolitan, as the crust was crispy instead of soft. I still recommend trying it. The house-made mascarpone with the sbrisolona was delicious. Overall, I recommend a visit.

The food was delicious (culaccia, parmesan, pumpkin tortelli, beer); excellent service. My only complaint: I had to wash my clothes because they were soaked in "food." This is a fairly common complaint among restaurants and pizzerias, unfortunately. But I'll be back soon. The food is truly delicious!

We had lunch with the family and were truly satisfied: Cappelletti just like my grandmother used to make, braised beef that melted in your mouth, and a delicious tiramisu. The service was very fast (the owner and waitress were very kind), but the cashier was a bit cold. We're not locals, but we'll definitely return if we get the chance.

14/03/2026: I recently visited Osteria Andes and can say without hesitation that it was a truly extraordinary experience. As soon as you enter, you immediately sense the authentic atmosphere of a true Mantuan osteria: a welcoming, warm, and refined environment where you immediately feel at ease. The staff is extremely kind, attentive, and always ready to recommend dishes and wines with great passion. The cuisine is simply spectacular. Each dish reflects local tradition with quality ingredients and evident care in preparation. From the typical Mantuan first courses to the richly flavorful second courses, everything is prepared to perfection. The flavors are authentic, balanced, and truly memorable. The wine list is also very well chosen and perfectly complements the dishes. The love for good food and local gastronomic tradition is clearly evident. A place I would definitely recommend to anyone passing through Mantua and wanting a true Mantuan culinary experience. I will definitely be back!
