HIDDEN GEM. Yurika-san is an amazing Japanese lady from Kyoto, and you can tell from every detail in this restaurant that it’s authentic. I lived in Japan for five years, so I can confidently say this place is the real deal. The food is absolutely delicious — simple, fresh, and full of umami. Coming back to Taki is always a pleasure. Sophisticated and welcoming, for lunch and dinner, even for a quick meal or a refreshing aperitif after sunset. The attentive and kind staff always makes you feel at home. The artisanal ice creams are a must-try...you won't find them anywhere else so good!

If you want the best from a Japanese restaurant this is the right location, not all you can eat but à la carte with competent and professional staff, refined setting and excellent food. Prices in line with the value of the place

I returned after three years and found the same quality and excellent welcome. Overall we were all satisfied ..... we will return as soon as possible, weather permitting.

I have known Taki for a few years and I can say that the authentic cuisine, the quality of the raw materials, the incredible wine list, the refined atmosphere, the professional and attentive but never detached staff, have now won me over. In Rome, the Japanese restaurant for me is Taki. A treat that everyone should treat themselves to every now and then!

I recently went to Rome and among the charming streets of the center I found this restaurant. Spectacular location, excellent food. Note of merit to the staff: friendly and helpful. If you want to eat something different from traditional Roman foods, this is the right place!

I had veg noodles with edamame beans. They were really good. Portion size could have been bigger for the noodles. The food tasted 5/5 , would have great to have a few more vegetarian options. Staff was very accommodating too to my vegetarian needs.
