The bill was a little salty (but not excessively) compared to what we ate (quantity of dishes on the plates), but all in all a quality menu, an elegant but not detached environment, fast and courteous service. Okay.

Ci siamo recati a pranzo in occasione della fiera del torrone e avendo prenotato con qualche settimana in anticipo. Il locale è a qualche minuto a piedi fuori dal centro. Purtroppo manca il personale con notevoli ritardi nel servizio, dall’accoglienza, all’ordine a tutto. Pranzo durato quasi 3 ore, tipo comunione. Abbiamo optato per il menù ideato ad hoc in occasione della fiera. Piatti buoni, soprattutto il tortino con le cipolle caramellate. Primo piatto ni, servito freddo e dal sapore molto dolciastro. Dolce buonino. 45€ a testa.

Really good advice, we asked where it was best to eat in Cremona, Tacabanda is the answer.
Six of us were all happy, consumed pizzas, fried and sliced cake. High quality food, cooked very well and accompanied by a good "house" wine from the Piacenza hills and an excellent craft beer. The desserts we tried, very tasty, before the meal, offered us a very good "treat". The service, as well as impeccable, is full of friendliness and information. Finally, the appropriate price. Congratulations 👍

Warning: if he doesn't answer the phone, try again soon, and busy at the tables, for over an hour that I was there he didn't stop for an instant.
What didn't I like?
I'd say a picture is worth a thousand words 😃
The glass with a bottom of dark beer (excellent) only indicates that I was wrong to combine it with a dish like this, a glass of wine would have been much better.
And anyway I finished the beer too 😂
The schiaccino should absolutely be eaten hot, if it cools it loses a bit of aroma and crunchiness, but still good while still hot is another thing.
The ricotta "ravioli" with asparagus cream are delicious, the "ricotta and spinach puff pastry" was cooked to perfection, even the vegetables (which I usually don't like) complete the main dish of the day well.
Finally the rose cake with eggnog...
No spoilers, it's worth a try.

Luckily we chose Tacabanda for our final dinner in Cremona. It's a bit out of the way, but we were impressed by the service and cuisine. Here, traditional cuisine is expertly interpreted in a modern way. The homemade torta fritta with the local sausage selection is very tasty (be sure to try it!). The Fiocco di vitello and the Mare Fiume are also excellent. The wines from Lazzari are also a great discovery. This is how Cremona remains fondly remembered.

The location is nice, well-kept and a little small, the service is sufficient although I recommend a little more friendliness and less coldness, the food is good, on the other hand the pizza is, I strongly advise against it, high value for money, let's say it's not exactly cheap, an example Over all, €3 cover charge in a small setting in Cremona is a bit excessive

Quando vengo a Cremona per lavoro passo sempre a mangiare qui.
Posto accogliente e personale gentile.
Prezzi giusto ma sopratutto cibo di qualità !
