Absolutely amazing hidden little restaurant. I came here after reading reviews and I'm glad I did. You can't get much more authentically Italian then this, although it's a limited menu the food is delicious and fantastically priced. The owner speaks limited English, but he makes you feel right at home.

The best food in Rome, the place is unique, it really is a true Roman tavern, nothing like the expensive restaurants in the city, the menu is small since everything is homemade and of the day, the owners are very friendly and the prices are worth it completely worth it. Do not hesitate at all to visit this incredible place and enjoy good Italian food.

I believe one of the few Tabernae left in Rome. As written by others, this place is poetry for the eyes and palate. You have to go there with a different approach from the classic restaurant or trattoria, here you go back in time.
