I live in this neighborhood and I come to eat a lot, I think the carbonara here is the best I've ever eaten in Italy, it's definitely number one, I always compare other people's carbonara to us, there must be a big difference. I always feel like I haven't eaten enough and always want to eat a second helping. Deservedly number one

Not a word of English - but everyone (landlord and guests) is totally helpful and helps with their hands and feet. Otherwise there's a solid carbonara and half a liter of wine for €8 - ciao! No dishes suitable for vegetarians They saved us from an otherwise somewhat bumpy start in Rome - thank you!

FORTE - Terra, sole, passione

18/12/2024: "How cute is this place!" A stone's throw from home, I had the pleasure of discovering Forte, making me feel at home even 500 km away. A super welcoming shop-restaurant with a design that can be found in the owner's smile, ready to amaze you with the best products that Calabria has to offer. The dishes tasted by me and my cousin were the spaghetti with bergamot, the platter of Calabrian black pig, the bruschetta with onion pâté and the vrasciale, all accompanied by two delicious glasses of wine. To top it all off, there was also the kindness of the waiters. These are the places that are good for the heart. Highly recommended!
11/11/2024: Amazing restaurant, the food it’s the best we eat in Rome. The people there are very kind and friendly. We will return for more.

Trattoria Dell'Omo

14/01/2025: Dishes that bring back the flavors of the past with particular attention to the products used for cooking. Like the flour for making polenta, taken from an ancient 18th century mill near L'Aquila! These are the things that convey the passion for cooking and for customers!
