Sushiko In Gorizia

Lunch on a weekday, half-empty room and in any case the dishes arrive cold (e.g. lukewarm steamed shao mai). In general, unfortunately I can't say I liked it, the teriyaki sauce was really too sweet and made all the flavors veer towards sweet, so much so that it covered the fish. In any case, the environment is ok and clean, the staff is helpful and kind and it can't be said that the food is bad. I tried nigiri and they are quite varied even if not exceptional, the rice pasta was overcooked and a bit flavorless, uramaki very varied for all tastes let's say and then the sore point was the bread, which didn't have the typical vanilla note. Good carpaccio, yes. I'm sorry but it's not for me, it costs less than other places of course, but since I don't go there often I prefer to pay a little more.

So so… The place after the renovation is very nice and the quality of the food is excellent. The only downside is the service. The last three times I've been it was very slow and I had to ask several times if they could bring me the wasabi and ginger before I actually received it. Furthermore, some dishes ordered never arrived. So-so waiters…

Large room. Young and fast staff. All you can eat formula. Good food and fresh fish.

Tried it for lunch, also returned for takeaway. Advise Returned after renovation, very nice for couples but also for the family (today there were "only" 12 of us from the family).👏🏻👏🏻

I ate well but the lunch menu offers little choice

One of the nicest sushis I ever tried, an all you can eat made well. With a nice app, a nice menu and also a very understandable pricing. You can also order take away with most apps. The nicest thing about this is that for this price, you cannot find a better sushi place with this much choice. They were fast, very nice an also polite, will come again soon for sure!

Returning after a few years, as soon as it opened it wasn't good at all. On recommendation we returned today and I must say it has improved a lot. Good sushi, friendly and always present staff, good choice. Still a little below other places but still worth a try
