Sunset In Portoferraio

Beautiful location, good kitchen, but disappointing service. We visited twice, but unfortunately left disappointed both times. The first time, we were served a half-full plate of pasta ragù, while the table next to us – a group – received the exact same dish with nearly double the portion. We mentioned it to the staff, but nothing was done. We didn’t feel taken seriously. A few days later we gave it another try, with two adults and two children. The kitchen is good – everything tasted great – but the starters and main courses were served at the same time. The bread that was supposed to come before the starter never arrived, yet we were charged €14 for “bread and service.” No apology, no gesture, nothing. We paid €115 and were out the door within an hour. We ended up having dessert elsewhere. The food is good, but the lack of hospitality and poor service really took away from the experience. This was our last visit.

Best sunset, delicious cozze, good tuna. Don't order the meat and be prepared that the service is quite a bit clueless: no dish for mussle shells, not asking for more to drink, not offering cleaning towels for mussle fingers, getting different dishes than ordered as the ones ordered were not available, some forgotten food... But the sunset is great!

Beautiful and very quiet. Bathroom staff friendly. Too bad the restaurant was closed.

We had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant last year, and I remember that the service and food were already excellent. This year, however, we were really impressed by the new employee Julian who joined the team: he was simply outstanding! So much so that we returned for 4 nights. His service was impeccable, attentive and friendly and made our experience even more enjoyable. Not to mention the food, which as always was delicious and cared for in every detail. It is clear that they put a lot of passion and professionalism into what they do. We highly recommend this restaurant, especially for the quality of the service and the food. We will definitely be returning again, and hope to always find such fantastic staff!

Terrace directly on the sea of ​​Bagnaia with a splendid view of Portoferraio. We appreciated the professionalism, competence and experience of the staff. Relaxing atmosphere and good food with the right portions.

You absolutely have to go there. Where to start? First of all I asked for a table with a great location and they satisfied me❤️ the staff is incredibly kind, which is rare in today's world. As soon as we arrived the waiter Julian (I hope I didn't write his name wrong😊) introduced himself and seated us, with constant attention to every detail throughout the dinner: in-depth explanation of the dishes and the wine we chose, when a napkin fell by mistake, he immediately replaced it with a new one and after serving us the tuna (delicious!), he topped up the wine in the glasses making the service impeccable. And finally he recommended a typical Ligurian dessert that we didn't know: delicious! The food is excellent and especially the first courses (we had spaghetti allo scoglio and spaghetti del giorno) the portions are generous. The location is amazing with the sunset in front of us. Needless to say we will definitely be back!
