Returning to Elba and not returning to SUNSET is impossible for me! Drink a good aperitif in front of a wonderful sunset. continue with an excellent dinner served by kind and knowledgeable staff, all directed by the very nice and welcoming host Pierluigi.

The Sunset Beach Club in Bagnaia enjoys an enviable position with a truly breathtaking view, especially during sunset, which is undoubtedly the strong point of the club. However, the dining experience doesn't live up to the scenery. The menu offers a rather limited selection and the dishes, although well presented, do not leave a particular impression in terms of flavour. The prices are quite high, and the value for money does not seem justified, considering that the portions are not particularly generous. The quality of the ingredients is decent, but you would expect something more for the cost of the meal. The service was friendly, but rather slow, with long waiting times between courses, even on a not too busy evening. The wine list is completely absent, and the choice is left to the staff, who are not particularly qualified, who only offer four options of local wines. In conclusion, the Sunset Beach Club is a great place for a drink at sunset, but if you are looking for a dinner that leaves an impression, it is probably not the best choice

We went to the restaurant attracted by the location which is its strong point. To have a table in the front row, i.e. overlooking the sea, we had to book for the second round at 9.30pm. We were disappointed by the insufficient professionalism of the staff, some improvised waiters and by the fact that some banal dishes such as mussels and salad were missing from the menu as they were finished with the customers of the first round. If you force me to come on the second round you must also be able to organize the kitchen in such a way as to offer the same service to the customers of the second round. Fresh fish, nothing unforgettable, insufficient value for money, romantic location.

The ambience of the restaurant is very nice. We were only presented with a day ticket, we don't know whether there is a regular ticket. Two courses including a bottle of rosé from Elba and a bottle of water for a total of around €125. Food was okay, as was the wine. Service seemed a bit chaotic, but nice. We were missing the side dishes for the main course and there was no choice, just a salad that you could order separately. Our recommendation here would be a sundowner and maybe some noodles. Here you clearly pay for the location.
