So recently discovered in the Maranella Torpignattara area! And for me it's worth a visit: the environment is super spartan, there's no attention to detail, in the furnishings, in the presentation of the dishes but... it's all very good! Abundant, good and cheap! Super nice and kind waiters and manager! Very honest prices! In short, a dive into Indian and Bangla cuisine which I recommend because good food must always be rewarded... even if I don't understand why there is never any care given to the decor and atmosphere. You can see that the artistic touch of a woman is missing ☺️

My friend suggested this place, the restaurant was not tidy enough but the food is super delicious. I tried beef biriyani , and it was really good and satisfying. The customer service is also a plus point. I recommend to try.

Very authentic biriyani ✅️✅️ Although it took a little bit time to arrive, but it was worth waiting. I found better biriyani taste here compared to others in Rome

This place has the potential to be the BEST Indian/Bengali restaurant in Rome. BUT they are very inconsistent with the taste. We always order the same things and while one time it's heavenly good, next time it's different. The korma was incredible in the summer, then went mid for some reason for months, now they are back to good. We wanted to order something different last week and got the curry. It was great so we ordered again, completely different, unpleasant even. Same with naan, sometimes it's super good sometimes it's mid. Also sometimes one person gets a bunch of bones, it's imbalanced. I don't know if it changes depending on the chef's mood or if there are too many people in the kitchen but keeping up the standard would be much appreciated as we absolutely love this place.

The service here is exceptional, and the food is crafted with love. The kachhi biryani was richly aromatic, and the chicken chaap was juicy and spicy. We had ordered food to take away as well, and when we asked for the bill the server sweetly told us to enjoy our meal and not to hurry for the bill. The hospitality was outstanding, and I would have given this place 5 stars had it not been for the atmosphere. The atmosphere felt a bit off-key.

Amazing food here. All the food was very tasty. If anyone is in rome and looking for a bengali restaurant, definitely come to this restaurant. I'm very happy that I came to this restaurant.

24/03/2025: Correggo in positivo il goudizio di un anno fa ...Forse oggi di giorno feriale cè meno ressa trovo un posto e poi trovo dei paitti non scontati... come l'involtino di pajata con contorno. MOlto buono direi pajata freschissoima per chi paice ovvio. I prezzi restano medio alti per il tipo di posto molto spartano. Non ho preso vino che cè solo in bottiglie.Una buona notizia il mercato è fimalmente in ristrutturazione. fimalmente.
21/03/2025: If you are looking for a place to enjoy truly delicious dishes in a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere, this place is the one for you! The environment is super convivial, the staff is always smiling. The food was a real surprise! You can see that they are passionate about what they do. The quality-price ratio is really honest, especially for the quality it offers. I will definitely be back!

13/12/2024: uno dei pochissimi gelati non dolciastri e appiccicosi che ormai fanno tutti da quando tutti usano lo sciroppo di glucosio (qui no) ! basterebbe questo a correre a prenderci un cono. ho letto le critiche che sono solo al 'pallottoliere' (che però è un'altra cosa), a me sta bene, perchè con la spatola non vengono tutti uguali. quanto al prezzo è onestissimo poichè è uno dei pochi veramente artigianale e non preparato con i preparati pronti (bisticcio voluto). metti pure che sono simpatici! è l'accusa di aver assaggiato il gelato con un cucchiaino a essere al limite del penale, non il fatto che la ragazza l'abbia fatto, che male c'è?
22/10/2024: It's been years since this ice cream shop opened in Piazza Sempione, but even though it's not my favorite in the neighborhood, every now and then I try to taste it again. I took the small cone which cost 3 euros, the peanut flavor was good with pleasant peanut pieces, the pistachio on the other hand tasted like milk... perhaps it could have had a vague memory of pistachio but it was really difficult to perceive it, the cream was good and the topping wafer had taken in air and wasn't crunchy. Now tastes are personal and maybe my taste buds went haywire tonight, but I was very disappointed because given the cost and quantity of ice cream (they put it with the scoop) I expect a product of a certain level and that's not the case. Maybe it was a coincidence but I don't think we'll see each other again anytime soon.
