A truly excellent experience at Sundarban Restaurant! The food was delicious: I had the Kacchi Biryani and the Chicken Chap, and everything was perfectly prepared. The dishes arrived quite quickly, despite the restaurant being busy. The Kacchi Biryani is one of the best I've ever had in Rome: generous portions, tender and flavorful meat, fragrant rice, and potatoes and eggs that complement the dish wonderfully. Truly exceptional. The welcome was also commendable: before we left, the chef came personally to say goodbye, a truly appreciated gesture that shows great care for the customers. Highly recommended for those who love authentic Bengali cuisine. I'll definitely be back!

This was a great bengali restaurant in the neighborhood. I had a family 18 members from UK and USA visiting Rome, Italy. This place was highly recommended and it surprisingly met all our expectations. We ordered the best Kacchi Biryani I have ever tasted outside of Bangladesh. the owner Forhad bhai and his staff were so kind to us. This made our trip it Italy a success. I will recommended everyone to try this place.

The best deal for the price. Taste authentic, ignore some comments talking about price… cmon, who call 6 eur for main course as an expensive price? You will not get anything like that in Italy, maybe in Asia..but not here. Anyway, highly recommend for ones who want a less spiced biryani with minimal services.

16/12/2025: Poor service, definitely understaffed. The girls were good at what they did, but the "head waiter" was gruff and completely unwelcoming. It definitely needs some organizational overhaul. As for the food, it wasn't anything special. The mixed grill consisted of pork neck, I think (it was an indistinguishable, fairly burnt mass), a sausage, and a small piece of chicken breast... grilled?!? And the grilled vegetables were clearly boiled/steamed and then reheated. In short, nothing special. They're lucky to be right next to the hotel.

10/10/2025: I frequent this restaurant often. Everything is always wonderfully perfect: the food is excellent, the location is excellent, the service is excellent, there's plenty of parking, and for those passing through the area, they also offer overnight accommodations. Prices are average.
