Sumi Kebab In Firenze

Found this place online when me and my family were looking around for some late night but somewhat hearty healthy food and, it’s safe to say I’ll be coming back for sure every trip to Florence. The onigiris are great and the lady made all of the food fresh. It seems that she works on her own and I appreciate her hard work so much as the operating hours are quite long especially since she’s working alone. Felt good and authentic 🫶

Lovely owner and good, original food—an experience not to be missed in Florence. Service is a bit slow, but the free origami is worth it.

A delightful little place, full of love and authenticity. Each dish is prepared with care and attention, which is also evident in the clearly visible waiting area for delivery drivers. I think it's a truly humane gesture. Highly recommended!

Accidentally stumbled upon this adorable restaurant on the way to our Airbnb. It's run by the sweet Sumi from Kanagawa, Japan, who serves up Japanese flavors with a middle eastern twist. We stopped by twice to order unagi onigiri and each time the lovely Sumi-san served us with love, care and the sweetest smile! She made each one fresh, and they were exactly what we needed after eating nonstop Italian food for a week. The onigiri were beautifully wrapped with sweet messages and tiny origami attached! Her hours are 7pm to 1am.

A unique place, the lady is very kind and goes out of her way to prepare all her specialties freshly. A truly unique offering. Leave your prejudices at home and come try the Japanese-influenced kebab! :D
