We are certainly talking about a starred restaurant, with impeccable service and a minimalist and discreet environment. The food is of excellent quality and workmanship, but does not fully meet my taste. In any case, it is an experience worth having.

Beautiful location in Quarto. Excellent food with dishes that are beautiful to look at and with great taste. The only small flaw was that some of these dishes were quite similar to each other. It was also our responsibility that we asked for a vegetarian menu. And on this I must say that we were fully satisfied. Chef Vitale really has a fantastic hand in the kitchen. Impeccable service carried out with elegance and discretion. The choice of matching wines is not always right. In any case, wonderful experience. Thank you.

Local cuisine, revisited and elevated to new flavours. As described in the incipit (and as often now seems to be the trend of starred restaurants), we find ourselves faced with traditional cuisine made gourmet, and it is not critical, it is what I personally prefer: flavors first of all. So recognizable cuisine, acidic notes where they should be, balanced (with some ups and downs) and tasty dishes. A mention of the "famous" seafood soup (...and vegetables.. and fruit.. with more than N^2 ingredients), a dish that I thought was an exercise in style, which instead turned out to be amazing (and also very "full", so much so that it could create a menu on its own). Deserved star (for many years now) and positive opinion. Even being able to see the chef (Marianna Vitale) working tirelessly and with commitment, for multiple hours, reassured me that this restaurant still exists, for a reason, and the reason is her. Wine list not very long, but well structured. Sober environment, sufficient separation between tables, convenient parking inside (even if with limited spaces).

A pranzo in questo noto ristante stellato assieme ad alcuni amici con aspettative alte non del tutto soddisfatte. Premetto di non essere un critico gastronomico e che il mio giudizio si basa solo sul confronto con le esperienze fatte in altri ristoranti stellati. Location a mio avviso piuttosto anonima dove a prevalere è il bianco. Menù degustazione da dodici portate buone si ma nessuna che ha lasciato il segno. Personale di sala e degustazione vini invece di livello. Rispetto ad altri stellati non mi ha convinto pienamente.

Ho cenato a "san valentino" nel celebre ristorante Sud della chef "stellata" Marianna Vitale. Ristorante ben arredato, ambiente rilassante con personale gentile e cordiale, molto attento alle esigenze del cliente. Le portate sono molto buone, semplici, con abbinamenti perfetti, il protagonista di ogni portata è il pesce, delizioso il celebre piatto "zuppa di mare" , la pasta mista con spigola broccoli e pomodoro del vesuvio, e l'astice con friarielli e provola. Inoltre dalla cucina a vista, si notava la presenza dello chef che ha cucinato per la delizia degli ospiti. Consigliato

I had dinner on "Valentine's Day" in the famous Sud restaurant of the "starred" chef Marianna Vitale. Well furnished restaurant, relaxing environment with kind and friendly staff, very attentive to customer needs. The courses are very good, simple, with perfect combinations, the protagonist of each course is the fish, the famous "sea soup" dish is delicious, the mixed pasta with sea bass, broccoli and Vesuvius tomato, and the lobster with broccoli and provola. Furthermore, from the open kitchen, you could notice the presence of the chef who cooked to the delight of the guests. Advised

13/08/2025: A true Neapolitan host, Roberto carries on a historic Neapolitan tradition with grace and kindness, with great care and without ever being intrusive. For those unfamiliar: E Curti a Sant’Anastasia, certainly famous for its noccillo, is a great oasis of old-fashioned refreshment. Simple, authentic, and sincere cuisine, which fully reflects the kind and always affectionate Angela Ceriello. For those familiar with the place, in addition to its famous noccillo, know of a very beautiful location built in the courtyard of an ancient building located in front of the historic location. I've been frequenting this place since I was a child with my family and I continue the tradition with my little ones, feeling at home every time. Among their most famous dishes, truly authentic and traditional, is undoubtedly my absolute favorite: O'secchio della rifiuti (the garbage bin). a typically winter dish, or at least one associated with the Christmas holidays. A linguine with olives and capers and dried fruit (the Neapolitan Christmas treat, in fact) But trust me, if you don't find it on the menu these days, try asking anyway. It's a perfect match for summer, and they'll definitely be happy to oblige. It's a joy every time, Roberto always makes you feel at home. ❤️ Highly recommended
06/08/2025: A historic restaurant in the municipality of Sant'Anastasia (Naples), offering a family-friendly, elegant atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, and traditional dishes. The owners are always present and professional. The meal ends with an excellent nocino liqueur made in-house. We'll be happy to return.

30/07/2025: I celebrated my graduation party there. The food exceeded my expectations, and the staff was impeccable. The fried fish was excellent. There was everything in it. I highly recommend everyone to go.
22/07/2025: The fish is incredibly fresh, the raw fish is beyond excellent, and the appetizers are wonderful: octopus salad, breaded shrimp, and exceptional octopus alla Luciana, a quality you don't often find! What can I say about the risotto and the fish? I'm speechless! Compliments to the owners who offer superior quality products, and to the chef for his sublime cooking skills. And compliments to the waiter for his excellent service. We ate wonderfully in a pleasant setting! Thank you for this unforgettable dinner!
