The quality of the food is high, elegant environment that does not want to fall into excessive refinement so it remains humble and territorial. Customizable tasting menu, with generous portions and excellent value for money. The real gem, however, is the staff; the boy who followed us is attentive, friendly, helpful. Una piacevole sorpresa.Abbiamo prenotato seguendo le recensioni e non abbiamo sbagliato.Piatti unici che difficilmente si possono gustare ovunque.Dagli antipasti ai primi con i ravioli di zucca in più varianti passando per i secondi arrivando al dolce piatti che lasciano il segno.Complimenti al personale giovane e competente.Ci rivediamo molto presto.

Excellent tasting in the center of Mantua. The various dishes were good and well presented, made with excellent local raw materials; the service was impeccable: the waiters were always available, courteous and prepared.

Restaurant in the center of Mantua spread over several areas and with a beautiful recess with an oval table that remains out of the way from the other tables.
The table has a ceiling with various writings in dialect and surrounded by walls with various clocks hanging with the real time time of some villages in the Mantua area. The idea is very nice because one finds oneself looking at them as when one is curious to see what time it would be in New York rather than in Tokyo.
And let's talk about the name of the restaurant instead. The name comes from the old people of Mantua who, when they wanted to ask to have salt passed to them at the table, called it brusco (brusc) sugar (suchar) to indicate that it was a bad, acidic sugar... Today young people use the term to indicate something impossible (since it is in fact impossible for sugar to be acidic/loved).
The cutting boards are very good, but also the pumpkin tortelli and spinach seats.
The decomposed tiramisu is nice.
Medium-high prices but in line with prices in the area.

My partner and I stopped for dinner, attracted by the super reviews and the 5th place in the ranking.
I can't say that the food was bad, absolutely not, but I expected something more, especially from a Michelin-rated restaurant.
In my opinion, a touch more elegance is missing
Menu list on A4 sheet, mediocre and not too fresh bread, American-style placemats
Pork cheek, beef cheek and sturgeon are on the list
Other truffle proposals not on the list listed verbally
it would be unpleasant to ask the price, just as unpleasant to order them blindly and then have a super bill..

Personal judgement
Good starter, but a little expensive, in proportion to the dish.
Slightly brothy tagliatelle, excellent pasta consistency, as well as for the tortelli: 9excellent pasta, thick, here it depends on taste, I liked them, pumpkin filling, slightly to be strengthened in taste.
A little high value for money.
Nice environment, perhaps lacking a little more soul, but everything is a personal judgement.
