Called in at breakfast for great coffees, freshly made tuna sandwich and a perfect (almost French) brioche. Sat outside on the piazza. Very quick waiter service with a view of the quiet square. We arrived just before the tour group!

Bellissimo microlocalino in piazza San Carlo. L'interno è piccolo e compatto, con 3 lati occupati da bancone e vetrine in cui sono esposti i pasticcini e tutti i prodotti, che sono buoni quanto belli. Per fortuna all'esterno c'è spazio in abbondanza. Anche il caffè è di ottima qualità. Il personale è molto cortese e attento.

Gelateria Testa

20/02/2024: From Milan on an occasion passing through Turin, I tried Gelateria Testa. The ice cream was really good, with the owner's explanations I appreciated the difference in Chantilly ice cream which is processed differently and therefore remains crunchy in the mouth with that sensation which, if you don't know it, makes you think it didn't come out well, but instead it's particularity. Really good pistachio. But the cream???? World. I'll be back for the eggnog with cream which is rumored to be equally spectacular.
