I went to this place for dinner, the rooms with glass windows allow a panoramic view of the Piacenza hills. The typical menu but offers revisited dishes. The welcome was excellent. Moderate prices. Recommended.

In the beautiful internal room on the first floor, today enjoyed a good lunch with 7 friends: started with fresh Ortrugo, chisolini with bacon, coppa and salami and followed by a second first course with pisarei-fagioli and magro tortelli. Closed with a good strawberry semifreddo. Adequate price. Attentive and courteous service. Recommended!

Very kind staff, they met us by preparing vegan first course and side dish. They also have an excellent apple sorbet, always vegan. Very welcoming and well-kept environment in medieval style.

I was in this restaurant last Tuesday Beautiful setting, set in a historic building, with a pleasant view of the village and equally pleasant background music The menu includes a few dishes but of quality, which follow the Piacenza tradition The courgette flowers as an appetizer are very good. As a first course I recommend the batalabar and the asparagus caramels, remarkable, as well as the guinea fowl Torta di Vigolo accompanied by mascarpone to finish in style A round of applause also goes to the service in the dining room: kind, cordial and competent; despite the young age

Locale molto carino, sembra di essere ritornati nei palazzi nobili di una volta. Personale simpatico e disponibile. Per quanto riguarda il cibo siamo un pò nella norma di un locale turistico.

Il menù mi ha soddisfatta, avevo l'imbarazzo della scelta, il servizio attento e garbato, dopo il dolce ci è stato offerto un ottimo liquore all'arancia. Mi è piaciuto l'ambiente, l'atmosfera e ovviamente le pietanze. Lo consiglio.

22/07/2025: One-day visit to Piacenza. For lunch, we decided on this osteria, just steps from the center and the tourist trails, popular primarily with locals. The place is well-presented, welcoming, and tastefully decorated. The person who welcomed and served us (the older lady) was both professional and friendly...an added bonus. The table settings were simple but pleasant. We didn't order wine, but if you do, you'll enjoy it in the traditional bowls. Before ordering, she brought us some lard blended with parsley and some delicious bread. We ordered pisarei e fasò (a type of pasta with beans), Piacenza tortelli with butter and sage, and then two sbrisolone, one with warm zabaglione cream. These are traditional Piacenza dishes. We enjoyed their simplicity, and the dessert was the highlight. The quality/price ratio was fair.

14/07/2025: Sunday lunch, discovered by chance....and what a fantastic find! A meticulously curated setting, extremely kind and knowledgeable staff, perfect dishes, excellent wines....we'll be back very soon, it's definitely worth the trip 🤩
12/07/2025: An unexpectedly perfect stop. After exiting the highway, we found this restaurant in a secluded and quiet area, meticulously maintained down to the smallest detail. We were a family and were impressed by the staff's ability to welcome even the youngest guests with attentiveness and discretion, without ever compromising the elegant and tranquil atmosphere of the restaurant. The cuisine is refined, with a focus on quality ingredients and seasonality, offering balanced and flavorful dishes. The wine selection is also excellent, with original and well-recommended options. We're happy we stopped here: an experience that transformed a simple stop on a road trip into a truly special moment.
