In short, I had a truly positive experience at Stella del Mare, and I would recommend it without hesitation. It's one of those restaurants you'll gladly return to, certain of finding the same quality, passion, and special welcome that make dinner more than just a meal. Well, we're talking about fine dining here. Personally, I enjoyed a dinner that, as an experience, is one of the closest I've ever come to those at Michelin-starred restaurants. First of all, the magical place, located inside the Tartaro shopping center right in the city center, across from the cinema, on the top floor of the building, gives me that feeling of having to deserve to get there 🤣. Jokes aside, it's easily accessible even for the laziest, via convenient glass elevators, so if you're bringing along someone obsessed with Instagram stories, they'll be happy 🕺🏻. The interior exudes elegance, attention to detail, and beauty. Stunning venue, comfortable seating, a quiet and classy atmosphere, topped off by attentive staff, always present but always discreet and never intrusive. A fantastic menu, with sensational meat and seafood options, but first, an entrée that... mmm, just the entrée gives you a sense of what awaits you next. The cuisine is perfect in both aesthetics and flavor, with modern presentations and clever pairings. Fried food is so dry and crispy that there wasn't even a drop on the plate. In short, there's a saying in Salento that perfectly describes the place: "Pachi na cosa de chiui, ma nu te resta niente." Go, eat, enjoy. Excellent seafood dinner: the raw fish for the appetizer was truly excellent, impossible to get enough of; the salt-baked prawns were fresh and well-prepared, and the monkfish was very tasty for the main courses. A good Gewürztraminer and a truly amazing sorbet made with non-dairy cream and lemon. The staff was kind and helpful, but due to a mishap, they delayed serving us, and then it turned out the tuna was sold out. To make up for it, they doubled the appetizer price. We appreciated it. The bill isn't cheap, but overall, I'd say it's fair. I certainly hope to return.
