This review only applies to the restaurant! We received a warm welcome and enjoyed delicious, regional food. It's in a fantastic location high above Appiano and Bolzano, with views of the Dolomites. The farm has been family-owned for over 200 years.

Amazing view, nice people and a good breakfast!

The food is excellent! The view is too! The Tyrolean dumplings are divine. The ice cream and dessert wine are also superb. Somewhat unpretentious at times, but authentic and made with heart.

The Hotel Steinegger is our absolute favorite place for the most wonderful time of the year. The hotel is beautifully situated in the vineyards above Eppan... and offers views down to Bolzano and the beautiful Etschtal Valley. Across the street stretches the magnificent panorama of the Dolomites, including the Schlern and Rosengarten mountains. In addition to its fantastic location, the hotel's outstanding staff is what makes it so special – you receive personalized attention and a truly feel-good atmosphere is created. The food is varied and top-notch, using excellent regional products. Once a week, there's a hike with the owner (a trained hiking guide)... personalized and to spots not yet covered by Instagram tourism. The facilities and outdoor areas of the Steinegger are fantastic and absolutely family-friendly – ​​in addition to the large outdoor pool, there's also an even larger indoor pool, which offers a great alternative when the weather is cold or too hot. A thousand thanks to the wonderful hosts for your loving manner and always superbly attentive treatment of your guests. We'll be back next year!

The rooms are extremely comfortable and inviting, always impeccably clean, and offer a wonderful view of Bolzano and the surrounding mountains. We have been spending our holidays at this hotel regularly for over 40 years. With each stay, we feel perfectly at ease. For us, there is no better place to stay – and that will certainly remain the case!

We had a wonderful holiday at this hotel. The owners are very friendly and helpful! The staff is very accommodating! Our room was very clean and ideal, with a sliding door to separate it from the kids. The balcony was fantastic. The view is sensational. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. You won't get bored there: pool, indoor pool, small gym, tennis court, pétanque court, foosball table... Highly recommended! Thank you, and we would love to come back!

A very good hotel with breathtaking views of Bolzano and the surrounding area, situated at an altitude of approximately 600 meters. Ideal for families and hikers. The hotel offers an outdoor and an indoor pool, tennis courts, boules, foosball, and much more! We have been guests for 15 years.

A wonderful hotel. The staff is incredibly friendly and great with children. There's a tennis court, soccer field, outdoor pool, indoor pool, bowling alley, trampoline, foosball, and much more. So you definitely won't get bored here. The owners are also incredibly friendly and helpful.
